I have just bought a Versatower P60HD with no base included but I plan to do what you have. I currently have a 15 meter telescopic tilt over mast that is bolted to the house wall and sits upright in a purpose built frame , More infor on my QRZ page (M0UGE) next project is to get the Versatower mounted and working like the current mast - yours looks great well done !

Keith good video! Curious do you plan to leave the wench out in the weather or have a detach method to only attach it when needed? The only thing i saw which i would have changed is the nylon tie straps. I learned the hard way many years ago to use black nylon tie straps as they are UV light resistant and will last a lot longer than the white ones. A minor item but i suspect you can change that any time you want since you have a very cool tilt over design :) .

I am going to cover the wench with something. Haven’t decided what yet. I did also use electrical tape to attach cables to the tower in case the ties break

Where did you attach the winch cable to the tower?
