Hi Kristie, Canada watches you too. I really enjoy watching you create your cards, I only found you a couple of months ago and have been binge watching ever since. Like you I am a card maker and donate most of what I make, but I was finding I kept making the same old thing but your sketches have opened up a whole new world so thank you. I just finished placing an order with LFL for her peel offs, you have inspired me to use more glitter, sequins and gems. So thank you for the time you spend creating and sharing I look forward to seeing more.
Helen Whitehead Hello neighbor! (I live in Washington state.) 🙂 Thank you for your kindness and welcome to my channel. I love that you donate your cards as well. I’m sure the card recipients are so grateful for all your lovely cards. I love card sketches and use them a lot. I’m always looking for new ones to try. Yay for ordering peel off stickers! They are awesome and I use them a lot. I hope you enjoy them as well. Have a beautiful day! 🌸
I have loved watching your videos my 5 year old daughter wants to help me make our Christmas cards as she been watching with me thank you for your hard work
Annette Renaud Aw, that is so sweet. My girl has been my crafty buddy since she was a toddler. She’s 9 nine now. I hope you both enjoy making Christmas cards together. ❤️
Been binge watching your videos. I just take them as the come up in my feed. I want to reach a point in my recovery and pain control to get back into my studio and create. I am learning a lot by watching your videos. I have about 60 new 12*12 books and I just figured I could make my own 6*6 pads, lol. I do appreciate all my books and 6” pads. I have enough stuff to open a store everyone says. If I do then I get to shop in it for free, lol. I’ve not been in there much within the last year but hope to make it back into card studio/craft room. All my jewelry stuff moved out 2 yrs ago.
This paper is too busy for me. It would be a dull world if we all liked the same things. I do like the card with Rudolph on and Santa in the back. You've done a great job as always, Kristie. Lots of brilliant card ideas. Thank you for all the hard work.
Anne-Marie Stevenson Thank you! Yes, it’s nice that there are so many different styles of paper collections available to fit everyone’s personal preferences. The Rudolph and Santa card is one of my favorites. 😊
I really enjoyed watching you make all these cute cards, Kristie, and loved listening to the music. Put me right into the Christmas spirit. Happy Holidays to you and everyone here.
mawmawvee Thank you! This was such a fun and cheerful Christmas collection. I always need a lot of Christmas cards every year, so I have plans for several more Christmas videos. Happy Holidays to you as well! ❤️
I like the progression of your videos. You coordinate some papers and I think, "I love that!" Then you mat the layers and "I LOVE that!" Then from off screen you whip out sentiments, embellishments and peel offs, and I think to myself, "I LOVE THAT!!!" At any stage of the game your cards are so beautiful. What a great eye for coordinating, layout and embellishment you have! Blessings, Kristie.
Debra Strohbehn Aw, you are so sweet! Thank you so much! Using 6x6 paper pads for card making will always be my favorite way to craft. 😊 I hope you have a lovely day!
The colors! The cheerful prints! The whimsical, adorable characters of every description! Oh, Kristie, sooo very much the way I design my cards ♡♡♡ And I had just a couple weeks ago said, "No more paper!!" so firmly to myself. Aaaaaaugh, must resist the temptation!!! LOL! TFS, my friend {{{♡}}} You're the best XO
Tracy Tracy Aw, Thank you! I really enjoyed this paper collection. And I never tell myself no more paper. Lol! I tried to resist buying new Christmas stamps, but failed. Oh well, I’ll get good use out of them since I plan on doing at least 2 or 3 more Christmas 6x6 videos this year. 😊
Loved this one. Great background music and I really enjoy these sped up videos with so many useful examples, tips, and ideas--even without a voice over, I feel like I learn so much.
Awesome Job Kristie. You're really trying to put me in the Christmas mood here. OAN: While I enjoy both voice over and non voice over but I have to say...I enjoy the music backgrounds, especially from your earlier videos (which I watch all the time). Thank you for recording and please keep them coming.
Excellent!!! Another great paper pad tutorial. You have such a wonderful talent and an eye for the way to put them all together. This is a darling paper pad - I wasn't going to buy any more paper but I recently moved and my stash is in storage until I get moved in to my own place (I'm renting now). Guess I'll have to invest in this adorable paper pack to keep busy. Thanks for sharing - keep up the good work!
Beth Hansen Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. This is an adorable paper collection, I would definitely recommend it. 😊 I would be so sad to have all my crafty goodies packed up in storage. I hope you don’t have to wait very long to move.
I'm in love with all the pink in this collection! And I love the already cut out figures that come in that pack, they are adorable! The paper with the nutcrackers with the yellow background is totally my favourite. :D
What type of die cutting machine do you use? I am just getting back into card making and you have been a great inspiration to me. Thanks for sharing your talents.
Whenever I get a paper pad I have a hard time beginning. I don't want to cut the beautiful papers. I get thoughts like 'this paper is too beautiful, I'll keep it for another project (I have no other projects)'.
I understand this. However, there is a new philosophy that if you love it, chop it. When I make cards I take photos of them so I have a visual record of them to flip back through. When I give my cards away, I make the recipients happy because they have a part of my creative heart. :)
Itsjustme There are some really lovely paper collections released every year. Out of the thousands of papers I’ve used, I have only had one sheet of pattern paper I just couldn’t cut. So I turned it into some craft room decor instead. Lol! Everything else, I don’t even think twice about when I make that first cut. It is just paper and the companies will keep making more beautiful papers. I also photograph most of my cards, so I can always enjoy them. 😊
@@KristieMarcotte So true. I guess I have a little hoarder in me. I do cut the papers eventually, but it's hard to begin. 🎶The first cut is the..hardest 😂😉
Do you cut out your white circles as you need them or do you have a stash of different sizes at the ready? I’m thinking of cutting out several at a time instead of just what I need so that I always have some....do you think this is wise?
kelli green I cut the white circles as I need them. Although, I do end up with a few extras once in awhile, so I have a little pile nearby in case I need one. It’s really up to you whether you want some cut out in advance. If it’s something you use often, I would say definitely cut out a bunch. My 9 year old daughter likes to use some of my extra die cuts. 🙂
Bella and Doodlebug are my two favorite paper companies! They are quickly becoming my standard. I love bright colors and whimsical designs and there are always so many elements to choose from! By the way...what do you do with all of these cards????
Laurie Myers I love both Bella Blvd and DB papers as well. Always bright and cheerful. 💖 I donate a lot of my cards every month. Plus I like to send out cards to friends and family. I’ll need around 300 Christmas cards this year so I have at least 2 or 3 more Christmas papers pads to use. 😊

Hi new to your channel! My first question is, where did you buy that tape machine and what is the proper name for it??
Hello and welcome to my channel. I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video. 💗 I use the Scotch ATG (Advanced Tape Glider). I do have a link in the description box where you can buy it and also where I purchase the refills.
How do you store all of your sketches?
Debra G I keep the printed sketches in an expandable file folder. Nothing fancy, but it works for me. In my craft studio video, I show what I use. 🙂
