This was SO fun to watch! Of course, I had to pause the video and order the kit! The outline dies were sold out, so I’m hoping I can use my scan n cut to make the backgrounds. I also followed your suggestion to get the matching paper pack; otherwise I’d spend all my crafting time trying to match. Thanks Kristie - I enjoyed the video!

so many adorable cards. I've been on the fence with this kit, but you always show how much potential they have when I'm not sure. Turning the reindeer into an elf is beyond brilliant. If I end up getting this kit I'm totally stealing that idea.

This video was so awesome!! I loved watching you assemble the cards. I have lots of Queen products but still haven't tried them. The videos help me feel like I can do this. The cards are SO PRETTY!!! Kristie you have done it again, beautiful cards thank you for sharing. I have just ordered the kit. I find when making my cards now I pay more attention to the amount of tape, glue and mounting tape I put on, I find myself thinking "Kristie would put on more and also that will sag if you don't put something under it" Great suggestions.
Helen Whitehead Aw, Thank you! This kit is so adorable. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. 😊 Since I donate most of my cards, I want to make sure they don’t fall apart, so I use a lot of adhesive. I’ve watched other crafters and cringe when they use just the smallest drops of adhesive. Years ago, I volunteered for a non-profit organization that collected cards from crafters and mailed them overseas to our service members. I helped open the boxes of cards. There were so many cards that fell apart completely or were missing pieces due to poor adhesive. Very sad.
I’m so amazing at all the cards you have done this is just great for someone like myself. i didn’t no that these kits was around you keep coming up with great ideas with the colors you put these together.

I reckon one of those loony blings - in red of course - would make a great Rudolph nose! 🤗 I really couldn’t pick a favourite this time... but I did really like the wreaths, and the shaker reindeer. The elf is really sweet and good on you for thinking it up! The smaller reindeer at the end would be a lady reindeer (doe) of course.....😜 Thank you for sharing. Top job! Rosie Allbon I think you are right about using some of the bling for Rudolph’s nose. Queen & Company sure has a huge variety of fun bling. 💖 This kit so adorable. I loved assembling all the cute shakers. Hot is never fun. No matter what time of year. I’ll try to send you some cooler weather. 😄

I absolutely love, love this group of cards! My favorites are the wreath and the Gingerbread house. The octagon card with the green Elf, at first I thought you were making it into a Grinch card the way you cut cut the ears ;I thought it was the eyes for the Grinch. Great cards Kristie!

Hi Kristie! I love this format seeing how you do one card. I really loved the gingerbread house card but had a question on how you reversed the die to get the candy canes facing two different ways. I have a few dies I would like to try this with. Thank you for sharing!

Maybe a silly question -- but you have a very long list of links (which I LOVE, by the way!) -- I am wondering -- did you use items from every single link? Just thinking this may be too spendy for me in the long run, even buying a little at a time. Thanks for any info. I love, love all these cards!
Tracy Lee Hello! It’s not a silly question at all. Yes, I did use an item from every link provided. Now, that doesn’t mean you need to purchase everything I used. You can easily substitute bling, twine, dies, etc that you already own. Also, many of the links are for the main tools I use. And I also provide multiple sources for many of the supplies. The North Pole Kit comes with almost everything you need to make cards. Obviously you’ll need cardbases and adhesives, but everything else is optional. I hope that helps. Does a kit include the card patterns?

dhocke31 Thank you! 🙂 The strip inside the card is simply for a little extra decoration. It’s also a perfect way to use up the last scraps of the paper pad.

I’m currently ‘trying’ to make the reindeer card. I’ve got all the parts die cut and am ready to put it together. The first thing you do is add the foam outline to the dark reindeer head. How do you cut it out so that it doesn’t separate? I can’t figure it out. Lol
Susie Gerdes I used the coordinating outline dies for the reindeer head. They are not included with the kit, but I absolutely love them since they are perfect for cutting out the background to the shakers. You can also cut more acetate with them. 🙂

I do have a question...do you print out the card sketches? If so, how do you store them?
Laurie Balderas Thank you! 😊 I do print out all the card sketches I use. I store them in an expandable file folder, separated by sketch site and in chronological order. Nothing fancy, but it works for me. 💖

QUESTION: For the shapes that have die cuts, if you have thin foam, can you use the die cuts to make your own shaker frames and acetate cut-outs?
JOANNA SHOEMAKER Yes, you can cut your own frames out of foam with the dies in the kit. But you would need to double the foam so it’s thick enough for the shaker toppings. You would need the outline dies to cut the acetate pieces. 🙂
Kristie, do you know if the toppings, especially the square cubed shaped ones, scratch off the foil in the bell shakers or scratch the metallic cardstock in the bell shakers? Just curious... 🤔 🌹Rosie of Oz 🇦🇺
Rosie Allbon Hmmm... I didn’t notice any scratches on the cards with foil or specialty paper. I also didn’t have the cards very long since I gave away all my Christmas cards. I think the specialty paper would be fine. But maybe not the foil. I have accidentally scratched the foil before. 🙁
