These tips are really helpful, but also easy enough to keep in mind when on the course. That's the sweet spot right there! I also appreciate the honesty in how difficult this can be when putting! Thanks so much and keep it coming!
I live in South Dakota Pierre (Pier) and we have 🍃 wind . What I do for tail--wind is use a lightweight disc like a Dragon or DX Valkyrie for distance and then a neutral putter for approach shots and standard midrange just shy of an OS disc like my Champion Shark 3 discs or my Star Shark disc both have multiple backup discs for when they fail. Also the into the wind putter is my Star Shark disc. For headwind I use os to no glide os discs for this shot.
I wish you guys covered crosswinds with example throws as well. At this point in my game I have a pretty good read on heads and tails, but still don't know how to adjust to a right to left very well for example.
If you expose the bottom on the disc to wind, it'll carry the disc more, so for a right to left wind and a RHBH hyzer shot, the discs is gonna carry more left than normal. If you expose the top of the discs to the wind, it'll push it down. So for a right to left and a RHFH hyzer shot, the disc will get pushed down quicker than normal. The fun comes when you can take advantage of a wind with your shot shape and disc selection. Just remember that any wind under the flight plate will carry the disc in the direction of the wind and any wind against the top of the flight plate will push the disc down.
I just got an exodus! Hoping i can make it my hyzer and headwind disc with my medium-low armspeed/distance. (300 avg) Love a dx leopard for calm and tailwind, but when that headwind or L to R crosswind picks up, def need a lil more beef
The wind....yes a right pain in the ass....I recently got my first infinite disc, i got a tomb! I wasnt sure about it for a week or so...then i started teeing off with it, thats when i started loving it!!!
Love the content. Would love to see a video for side winds or even diagonal winds. Also from someone in marketing, I would try to keep your competitors (OTB) out of your videos.
Trust me there was wind! Hard to notice but I switch back and forth between the lav mic and camera mic depending on what way the wind is blowing and how each sounds!

Very well-explained by James. Demonstrations were clear and illustrative of the point. Love seeing James on the Infinite roster!
Great tips. Watching this just after a windy round
Great video - Always great to talk to your proctor.

I’ll definitely have to make a video on crosswinds in the near future!

great video..
As a newer player some graphics of what exactly they are talking about would be so beneficial. Still a helpful video though
Wind does suck
The Proctologist!
Who better to guide you in the wind, when you're "all puckered up"?
What other tips do you to see on the channel?😎
no fuzzy filter on the Lav mic? Can't be that much wind :P
