The animation in shippuden kinda sucked tho. Especially in this fight, it doesn't compare to the crisp smooth animation from Rock lee vs Gaara

The series should have been about Rock Lee/Might Guy and it would have the best series of all time. Imagine the protagonist, with literally no talent, training his hardest to overcome all his limitations. Then, using his last ultimate technique to sacrifice his life and defeating the villain that no one else could touch.
But Naruto is my homeboy, I can't say anything bad about him.

Lee watching his master fight one more time and having the mind of steel to learn and focus for what would’ve been his final lesson is extremely poetic. It is very consistent with his character and relationship with Guy. He never doubts him and trust him completely. Really good writing.

The Uchiha pale in comparison to the gigachad aura of bowl cuts + green spandex. Not even 6 paths Madara would have survived if he didnt have that healing factor
I don't really think Itachi was scared of Guy specifically, but he had reinforcements on the way and Itachi says in the anime at least that they're not prepared to fight a full scale battle and to retreat. They ended up finding Naruto anyway later. If someone knows what the accurate translation of the manga is then you can feel free to let me know
@@izmizzle Itachi's genjutsu is ineffective against guy because guy can fight someone by looking at only their feet. Hitachi can cast genjutsu with his hands and eyes but not feet. Thats the reason Itachi was worried about him.

Well honestly he got no use in all of Shippuden. I think it was a great moment to have him acknowledge by the main antagonist and that's fine by me. Guy is one of my favorite characters. I wouldn't go watching Boruto or anything crazy, but he got no shine in any other series either. His moments against Kisame and Madara are just great moments and that's that.
Nah fuck legend, Boruto series is trash but one of the few good things is Guy gets to hang out with Kakashi and just chill out as old dudes, now that his best friend isn't full of guilt anymore.

@noparkingnoparking I guess Kaguya could've revived in Madaras corpse after being killed by Guy or something I don't know. I find it kinda sad how Naruto ended on a very low note compared to almost the entirety of the Manga/Anime.

When Guy opened the 8th gate it really is a testament to Guy & Rock Lee’s preserverance through sheer hard work who cares about talent, there talent was their work ethic, inspiration man🔥🖤
