Would not think there is much future in this considering a cd cleaner can be bought for a few euros. You could get glue particles inside the machine or the cleaning pad could fall off.

I have a Sony CDP-C7ESD CD player for my home. It has an revolving tray with 5 places to hold the 5 CDs.
Question: Are there 5 separate laser lenses that I need to clean?? Or, is there just one laser lens that is shared between the 5 ?
Oooow thats a bit naughty, there is always a risk of the lense being ripped off.
There was a lense cleaning disk that had something similar.
i have always taken the player apart and used cotton buds or que tips if i ran away to
the U.S of A :-D

They do sell disc just like this but you are right it would be best to take it apart and clean it that way.
@@RichpinTv it would be a nuisance to rip the lense off by accident 😞and try to find a new c.d player for the car.
It would be as bad as trying to buy an 8 track cartridge player.
Ill take that back lol, i forget that you live in america and most things are possible to get :-D.

Cd player cleaner disc costs like 2 euros where i live so no need for diy and blank cd is like over 12 euros

It will. But with some luck you won't need glasses anymore.
No, I don't think so but the lazer might be sharp
After 10 attempts, this method does not work. The cd does not even spin cause the fiber cloth strips remained in the same position when ejected.
Or just go out and BUY a CD disk cleaner.
