As a mobile player I am very concerned. I was saving for her but ill wait for now, after maining jinhsi i am used to braindead rotations. I cant do all that quickswap stuff lol

Pretty sure you mentioning i-frames on her skill startup is wrong, you can see in the zoom in she takes aero damage from monkey and her health drops (not including the wind DoT). It would be super armor/interrupt resist
yeah, i notice that she has no i frame other than ultimate. because she is still take damage even in enhance attack, skill and heavy attack. your right its more likely a interrupt resist.

Best guide I have seen, you are the only one I seen recommend Chi Xia who is the one I thought will pair best with Chang Li, lots of guidemakers (and irl friends) said just build her main DPS, like with who? TaoQi for skill dmg bonus? Jinhsi and Havoc Rover already have their team, why would I pair them with Chang Li so I can have 1 great team, when I could have 2 great team? Do people forget we need 3 teams in end game? Hello?

Doesn't matter if she's mid or not, I just love myself a pink-haired mommy. Got her on my 41th pull (literally the last pull I can afford lmao). She is by far the most fun to use. Now I'm gonna be saving up for Scar/Geshu. I don't regret pulling for her.

I think most of her kit revolves around 'resonance skill dmg' so that should be prioritize first before atk% etc.

Nah, just learn how to build stacks, then consume those stacks, ult when you can, marvel at the sound and light show, repeat.
Later on, when you're comfortable, you can optimize if you wish. If you wish. But you don't have to.
The combos are pretty easy once you play around with her for a while. I wouldn't bother swap cancelling, just do her full combo then swap out. It only takes like 12 seconds anyway

Encore can fully benefit from Changli's outro, since it buffs Encore's full Forte charged attack (which deals Liberation dmg). Sanhua's outro also expires if Encore leaves the field, so the difference is that, basically, with Sanhua, Encore should stay on field even when outside of her Liberation form, since her basic attacks are buffed by Sanhua's outro. With Changli, Encore should only stay on field while on her Liberation form and, if Changli's outro buff is on, Encore should only go off field while charging her full Forte charged attack; if her outro's off, Encore's swap cancelling mechanics doesn't change.

Honestly I feel like swap cancelling with everyone was how kuro intended the game to be played. All optimal combos for maximum dps use swap cancelling.
Granted they're sweaty af and not for the casuals tho, so it's not surprising that most people don't explore these rotations. It's like playing a much harder playstyle for just a noticeable damage increase. Then again, it's the only way I was able to full crest ToA without max level echoes lmaooo
If that was true, I don't think they would've made outro skills expire if you swap cancel.
I believe the quick swap cancel techs are probably something that "naturally" appeared as a result of the game's mechanics and the devs decided to leave it there as a high level tech, rather than something they actively designed the game around. (Or, at least, I don't think this was their priority)
Can't say it for sure, though.
@joaomarcoscosta4647 I agree with this. They actively discourage swap cancelling by nerfing or outright removing buffs if you swap to another character. Hence they don't want people doing it, but they don't force you to not do it.
@@joaomarcoscosta4647 valid. Then again, the way the outros work might be the trade off for "cheating" the dps and safety of the swapped character. A swap cancel calcharo yinlin with double void thunder is comparable to a hypercarry calcharo yinlin with void and moonlit. It's their way of not making swap cancelling hard meta which adds to variety of gameplay.
Now that I think about it, that could also be the way to move the skill ceiling even higher. Cuz then the OPTIMAL OPTIMAL playstyle would be swap cancelling before outro buffs are ready, then when the outro buff arrives you have to adapt and switch to the hypercarry playstyle.

Hi Tenten, is that Changli's passive skill 20% fusion dmg bonus and 15% ignore defense active when Changli give damage in Resonance Liberation or Forte? I see that in Changli stat doesn't add 20% fusion damage bonus after do that and I doubt that 15% ignore defense calculated too. If you don't mind, maybe you can share with us the Changli dmg calculation.
Even if her skills and liberation kills my team or her attacks heal my enemies ... i will still pull for her ... 🗿
The reason i decided against pulling her was the fact that u can get hit out of ur skill and true sight attack unless u have s1 and u can get hit during her forte too.

Her ''best'' subdps is whatever subdps you like. I pretend her outro buff doesnt even exist, it really doesnt matter because I just need Rover or Encore or Yangyang or Chixia or any subdps to come in and deal dmg while I wait on Changli's skill animations or CD. If you're trying to maximize her outro buff like a subdps, her own dps will suffer. Mommy aint no sub.

there are two things i noticed that are wrong in your guide. First, she has no i-frame in her skill. She takes damage even if she skill. Second is the swap cancel at the middle of heavy attack coz it cancel the last part damage of heavy attack
I really don't like chixia and don't have encore, this sounds cope but could I use calcharo since she buffs resonance liberation?
Her liberation buff is only 10 secs tho

Run the math. She does higher damage than staples like Encore and she does higher damage than limited DPS like Jiyan... and yet she is a "Skip"? lol. Imagine being that guy...
I ended up skipping Yinlin so I could get both Jinhsi and Changli, but now I'm regreting it a little bit.
Oh, well. Maybe I'll just save for now and see how things go moving forward.

Changli is much better than people think though. How much better? hard to say this early while the debate is still largely based on spreadsheets. It's not Star Rail, you can't auto.

which echo sets would you recommend for both Changli and Chixia in the same team? both using Molten set? Or Changli moonlit cloud, Chi xia molten?
This is a dual dps comp so both molten is what you should aim for with one moonlit cloud on your support.
Wouldn’t jihnsi still make for a good quick swap since she does high burst damage? Also it’s funny how you can juggle bosses with changli and jihnsi combo. Who needs verina when they can’t attack you 😂
Well its hard to build her forte without cordinated attack tho.... Well if you are skilled enough change your 3rd member with the one doing cordinate attack inguess ?

Not sure is it from PGR or want to be different from genshin, wuwa is all about flashy and complicated moves.. to the extend for example getting shield up can go through a lot of button clicks. As someone has mentioned, worse is that if interrupted then the shield won't even manifest!
Kuro games can program the moves to be much simpler as in press A to get B, but no, it has to be press AAAAA to get B but if interrupted on the way to get B, you won't get B at all.

her dmg is good.. but to make it good you need to be skilled enough to do so.. to minmax her is not that easy because you need to quickswap often.. that's what it meant.. if you don't play her good you will be unable to use her to her full potential resulting in lack dmg/ mid dmg.. the effort is too big for the reward is what some ppl say..

i think changli is made to be a pair with future fusion dps same way danjin and havoc rover are and her strength isnt fully realized yet imo cause only encore makes use of her outro well but encore is a standard character and not limited. we'll see though

Honestly I'm still wondering why nobody complains about the unfair treatment Encore get from Changli's release.
Calc got dedicated support Yinlin whose outro buff can be used by Calc completely.
Meanwhile on Fusion side..
Changli's outro buff of Fusion & Liberation dmg, Anko can only use 1 of it. She doesn't do any Liberation dmg.
AND Changli's outro buff duration is only 10s ?!??! Yinlin's is 14s!!
Anko playstyle is similar with Calc, entering 'Ultimate Mode' for a period, and the duration usually requires 13+s.
Changli is so scuffed in synergy with Anko that it feels so.. unrewarding for her long field time.
If it wasn't for her great design and voice, I swear there would've been a storm of cursing at Kuro weird balancing sense in 1.1 (Jinshi's busted kits also considered in this statement)
Right now most people play her as main dps, as the outro is kinda ignorable except with Chixia.
The 2 main dps team + 1 support is once again sitting the meta seat

Any idea why the crit ratio in this game is so unbalanced (which I feel makes her signature weapon worse)
They used different methods to calculate CRIT DMG formula as far as I know.
•Genshin Impact: Base DMG + CRIT DMG {100% + 50% = 150%}
•Wuthering Waves: Base DMG × CRIT DMG {100% × 150% = 150%}

I don't get your question because both have same formula for CRIT Rate.
50% = roughly a half of it hit CRIT DMG
100% = guaranteed to hit CRIT DMG

Changli personal damage calcs are mediocre.
Fusion dps slot is already filled by Encore.
Synergy with Encore is bad because ult damage is worthless.
Sanhua already exists and is free.
Until she gets buff or future synergy, unimpressive.
Changlis personal damage isn’t supposed to rival that of a main dps like Encore. She’s more like the role of Danjin in a Rover/Danjin team. She’s a quick swap hybrid and her damage is pretty respectable in that role. Early calcs for Changli/Encore show that team dps being on par with Sanhua/Encore at a minimum and ahead of even Jiyan team.

In encore changli, Changli has significantly higher field time than encore.
Quickswap dps, support hybrid , sub dps ...changli is not .
Changli is not another Yinlin. She is a full blood main dps and should be judged alongside her contemporaries
@@mayukhmondal5552 yah sure if you want to play her sub-optimally. Every DPS calc rn has her playing as a quick swap heavy rotation dps. Swapping as much as possible is how you want to play her or else you’re just losing damage. Encore will do more damage then her on that but her damage is still a very respectable amount of the teams overall damage.

Reason i did not pull is bcoz of her bis team not currently in game. Maybe future char can fix that, but atleast now she is not must pull. If you think people praising her so much that you wanna pull her cause of peer pressure, it will die down sooner than u think. Remember same guys were shouting telling yinlin is sexiest, now changli is their attention. Stay strong and dont get peer pressured into pulling someone u have second thoughts about.

For god tier characters to exist there should be chars like Chang Li, if everyone is good, nobody is, next dps I'm gonna pull for is someone with pistols, melee chars sucks if they are not Jinshi, but she is hardly could be considered as a melee
That makes no sense. All characters cost the same, so all should be around the same power level

@@mordogonofastora3421 the thing is it's not just about power level in Wuwa. Skill issue is massive and changli is very hard to play optimally, vs jinhsi who is very easy to play. So I think OP point is pistol user that has easier playstyle and can ignore mechanics will be better, especially for mobile/casual players. I was saving for changli but after playing her trial i think she is a bit too complicated for my skill issue
