    your f sholud be continuous linear functional unless you have taken H* as collection of all bounded linear functional. Right?

      In definition of bounded functional we take norm of x equal to one

      f is a linear functional so by definition it is a mapping from the hilbert space into a scalar field, the real numbers or the complex numbers.
