At last the right look of Baylan’s saber to do Rey Stevensons character justice of which he had a design input. The SN4 update was very useful. Thanks again for the great update

What I like about the SNV4 is you can create blade styles. Xeno3 can't do that yet despite having a spot on the app for future use.
But I may have to trade in my old txq for this one. This is fantastic! And keep up the good work. With Acolyte, I look forward to more content from you!
Yeah I think that will come over to Xeno soon. I can’t wait for that new show! Gonna have so many figures and sabers to review!
Being able to use the app to edit the blade styles and other effects is why SNV4 is my favorite board.
One thing to note about SNV4, is you can create blade styles through the app. Not a customizable as a proffie. But it can do amazing things. Xeno has a spot on the app for it, but they haven't done anything with it yet. Keep up the amazing work Jon! Always watching your channel!

Yes, do this version for sure if you want something that looks almost identical to the screen use prop. This is by far the best looking overall version.
Wow that's so awesome Jon by far the best version of Baylan's lightsaber ever so cool I can't wait until I get my own neopixel lightsaber and as much as I would absolutely love to have Baylan's lightsaber I'm going for Obi-Wan's first lightsaber because it was my first lightsaber toy ever but still wicked awesome🐉
I got the first txq baylan version. And I put my sun-skoll as the number 1 font, and changed 1 to the last number. Also modified all of the basic chinese-ish voice files to an AI voldemort one, its hillarious

Hello there! I just got this exact saber and got the SaberFont Baylan font and it has 32 quotes and I was wondering how to play and cycle through them with this saber? Thanks and MTFBWY
Ok, this one gets my attention. Other than it being a 1 button, without an aux, for proffie, it does punch all the other notches for a Baylan hilt. I'll have to wait and see what UW/TPS is releasing tomorrow, but if it's not what I THINK it is, this one is my 2nd choice. It's a very good price at the moment, even without a discount code.
Course, I will have to wait till after I get some tests done at my hospital on Friday to see if I can afford to buy more hilts or not.

@@fatmonkey46 I'm not talking about the option Jon reviewed. I went to the link he provided and changed the options to see what it would cost for proffie and it's really good. Bit out of the range for some, but it's a good deal.
Ok, UW/TPS isn't re-releasing a certain hilt, but discounting various hilts every week. Plus, my docs report was fairly good, so maybe in a week, I can re-look at this hilt and maybe? buy a weathered version in proffie.
Ok, week is over and did good, so I can afford this now, so I just put an order in for a weathered, with proffie.
Thanks for another great review, I'm about to place my order. Do you recommend a 32" or 36" blade for this hilt? LGT/Xenopixel updated their Baylan as well, but this one looks much better.
32inch is my size. 36 for me is just a bit to long.
@@TheCollectorsOutpost Thanks for the reply, I ordered the new TXQ Baylan with the SNV4 soundboard. I was so disspointed in the first TXQ version, but this revised hilt is near perfect and the best replica being sold.
While the SNV4 Bluetooth app isn't as polished looking as the Xeno, the ability to create your own blade styles and effects makes SNV4 my favorite board. Plus you can trade effects, the effect files are saved in each of the numbered folders, so much better than Proffie. I created effects for all 27 fonts and have been letting people download them for free via Reddit.
I have the ARTSABERS version of this saber. Love it, but agree with you that the SN4 app really needs some improvement.
I got a couple of our fonts from the Ashoka series. But have issue with some of them not being the right colour.
Not sure it it is an issue when you go over 30 fonts.
Do you know it this core is compatible with Pixel to RGB converters? if so, any in particular? awesome review btw! I'm about to get this saber and I'd love to duel with it a lot

Hello everyone, Looking for some help. I accidentally muted my saber. Can't figure out how to bring the sound back. Love this saber minus me not knowing how to use it lol.
What options would you choose for this saber? Obviously the weathering. But I am not sure which Technology Core is best. I would prefer a more accurate blade color as opposed to durability. I wont be dueling except maybe with my daughter who is 5. Did this saber come with the 32" or 36" blade. I know you said you prefer the 32" Also is the D ring the same as the belt clip? Sorry If I seem basic I just want to pick your brain so that I can make the correct choice. Thanks in advance for your help.
I use 32inch blades. SNv4 is more user friendly than Proffie. D ring is a ring to hang on a belt hook.

(watched one of your other vids) It arrived in the post yesterday. I opened it up and thought hmm seems a bit slim. Oh well, I searched for a video on how to change the sound font. Which led me to this video of the much more screen accurate version that I will be purchasing today. Thanks for all of your input and help.
Definately one of the nicer versions of this saber. This hilt is up there with the ANH Obi for me.

you should add in your reviews if a 28 mm dark side smugglers outpost speaker will fit in these light sabers, i am a collector and what i have found is sound is most important and i have bought several sabers with the intent of putting a 28 mm speaker in it but it wont fit, it would have been nice to know ahead of time
The answer is no and pretty much almost always no as the Chassis is 25mm and pommel is 22mm for this Baylan and that's pretty much the standard cuz TXQ and LGT use all the same interchangeable chassis for all the sabers for the most part. A few you can cram in a 28 but have to alter a lot of things. I have done it as an experiment with very very little improvement to sound quality as the board just don't produce great sound quality. These same 25mm chassis are in many of the 89sabers I have and they sound much better and louder. In the end it comes down to the board, how it's processing the audio, the quality of the metal and positioning of the speaker and how much air movement it has to create the residence of the sound. It's much more than just a bigger speaker to create better sound
@@TheCollectorsOutpost i have a TXQ Luke V1 SNV4 and i put a 28 MM smug outpost and it fits fine and the sound improvement is superior to stock when i say superior that is even an understatement it sound so good and loud it feels real i also have a Luke V1 with Damien sabers Luke V1 did the same and it sounds good too all my V3 sabers sound super quite no matter what i do i do think those boards suck for sound
@@nicknolin you may also find that whilst that’s a good idea you could fully enclose the the speaker to really amplify the sound

Not really. The apps are tricky. Connect the seller and see if they can help you more.
Someone FINALLY got the pommel and that middle ring section with the red buttons right but that blade plug is a shame.
TXQ and Nexus don’t seem to put any focus on blade plugs and it’s a shame. But there’s always a 3rd party somewhere that will make one.

Just got mine today, really great but the red button kinda rattles, not sure if that’s anyone else’s case or if anyone knows a fix for it. Functions just fine, just an audible annoyance
