The guy on the right on the Cat is a lot better operator, he putting big loads over the hill, the one on the left is scared, he's trying to stay away from the edge as much as possible. He's taking little loads of dirt, until he gets to the edge then stops. I've pushed over those in daytime and night time, it's a lot scarier in the dark, when you can't see the edge. I've dumped 777 over those all night and never leave a rock on top... That's the Thrill of working ... ! When you doing that at night,,, all you can see if the load in front of your blade... you just keep going till the load drops, then hit reverse real fast... ha ha
Greetings to all again from Ohio, USA .... I don't know about the rest of you, ...... I've done many things and operated my share of machinery, tractors, tractor-trailers and dumps, but I've never dozed close to a sheer drop like this. I'd constantly be thinking about the base caving under the load, hydraulic malfunctions .... I guess I still wouldn't mind tho. GREAT operators, great camera work .... Great video. Thank you MMC!
@@ConstructionMachineryChannel I guess you're right. He's got more nerve than me. He even pulls to the right in order to grab more material, bringing the left rear track on the edge. Yes sir .... GUTS!! LOL
Hi, Brody Emmerton. Careful, Sir, your ignorance is showing. That izza safety measure - always leave a bladefull sitting on the edge and let the next bladefull push the last one over the edge. Yea, that one on the right side on the cat was good, he let it spin a little to much... But the one on the left was scared, he didn't want no part of that edge. I've pushed over those on night shift before, and you couldn't see anything but the load rolling up over the blade... you just kept going to it dropped, the hit reverse real fast.. fun times.
Hi, Tony Richardson. If you 'need' to see daylight under the blade in a situation like that, I would suggest that you also need you head examined. Common sense would indicate that you leave your last bladefull sitting on the edge and push it over when you bring your next bladefull down - which you then leave sitting on the edge. I would agree that the guy on the 'Kummagutsa' was making it a little hard for himself by leaving a bit too much on the edge but at least he didn't leave himself in the middle of a tangled pile of scrap steel at the foot of the wall. I would rather have him working for me than have to attend to a HYOOOOGE pile of paperwork if a dozer went over the edge. Just my 0.02. You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
Shame you repeated the same footage twice on different angles. These dozers must be doing this for hours a day so surely cant be that hard to set up a camera on time lapse to get a whole day of filming done and then post it, rather than 2 to 3 minutes which you then replay twice ?

When you are pushing over, you need to see daylight under the blade.
Or you just fight yourself.
