I’m just an outsider looking in and have never even been in this church, but I’m sure all these loud, strobe lights and band driven churches that have popped up all over the place the last 20 years have contributed to the decline of this church and many that were like it. The decline in attendance led to slashing of budgets. I discovered FBC JAX about 12 years ago and have watched from afar the significant downsizing of it that had started way before me. It’s a shame but I wonder how many of these people were here because they could hide and just stamp their religious time card for the week.

This song never gets old. It is beautifully done and so inspirational. It keeps my faith strong while waiting for His return.
