If you must work "IN" your business to functional daily, you are not truly a business owner. Most inspectors find this out the hard way such as when they run into an injury or health issue.
Yeah, maybe your favorite surgeon should step away and sub it out too? I wonder why some people get into this business if they themselves don't have enough passion to remain in the trenches alongside their other inspectors. They tend to arrive late, build up the business and then sell it.
@@hanksta34 It's what works for you. I used to work in insurance so I had access to clients' salary. This one medical firm was made up of 10 gastroenterologist. Their salary ranged from $500K to $1M. Then one gastroenterologist made $5M, well more than the other 9. You guessed it, he was the head surgeon and owner of the firm which means he got a piece of all the action. If he wanted to go to the Maldives with his wife for 3 weeks, his firm would still be doing surgeries and he would still get paid.
@@joephu You kind of danced around the challenge. I stated that too many get into this business merely as business owners and do not appear to have a passion for actually performing inspections. You implied that I am truly not a business owner. Okay. The IRS thinks I am enough to have to pay payroll taxes on a monthly basis, plus quarterly and annually. I've seen guys get in for a few years, build it up and sell out.
Video cut short or something? Faded out during beating of chest scene.
