As someone who just got married in 2022, I promise you would wake up the morning after your wedding and regret spending $12,000 on flowers. So much of what you *think* matters going into your wedding day, you realize in hindsight never was really that serious♥️
Definitely get some quotes from other florists! That’s SO expensive 😖 but that’s coming from me, who got all my florals for my wedding at Costco 😂

If there are any other preferred venders i would check it out. Even if it isnt cheaper, sometimes you get some other ideas.

I like to have them for convenience but I use face wash most of the time! Also knock on wood my skin has always been pretty good🫣

Liss 10-12k for flowers is crazy! Got married 3 years ago in the state over from you (just as expensive to have a wedding here) and l did not nearly cost close to that. I have LI friends that got married and they said that’s crazy. I would say look into Costco or Sam’s club I’ve heard great things about their florals. Also check your bride groups for their recommended florists. Also look into fake flowers or wooden flowers

I got married in 2022 and did all fake flowers. Now I don’t need to preserve my bouquet and can keep it together and don’t have to worry about the flowers dying and we have a couple of our centerpieces that we kept too. We got everything at hobby lobby and Michael’s.

Have you thought about DIYing your centerpieces? That might take a chunk of money off.
Florists are very expensive and they probably undershot the quote I just had my wedding in NY in January and paid 9k for flowers and didn’t decorate the ceremony.. only tables bouquets and boutonnières - get another opinion and tell them your budget .. don’t let them make your dream.. have them fit your dream into your budget.
I remember the florals for my moms funeral, the arrangement on top of the casket, was damn near $1300 🫣

that’s on the cheaper side for wedding flowers! used to work for a florist i’ve seen some for 40k+
but definitely get more quotes. imo flowers don’t make or break the wedding…food, music & vibes are everything.

I wouldn’t pay $10k for flowers. That’s outrageous for something that will be tossed in a day. I mean, if you’re rich or extremely well off that’s one thing, but I personally would rather use the money on something that would be used daily or often… like a boat or another toy like that you’re in to. Just my opinion. 💜

Hey Allisa. I hope you and your family are good after the earthquake we had a couple of hours ago. How crazy was that? My house and everything in it shookforr about 15 seconds and i realized it was an earthquake but thankfully all good. Reminded me of when it happened in 2011. You and your family be safe. When I was getting married, I HATED the tall flower arrangements for centerpieces but as I met with our florist I started to like them more. We did a combo of high and low centerpieces & I ended up loving it!
