Headers and exhaust together with a throttle controller will transform the jimny. If you have the money for a supercharger then you have a rocket jimny. Worth the money
Fantastic video you learn something every day. Hopefully it gives you more power with this Torquit Exhaust and throttle controller. Interesting to see how it goes
Yes absolutely! Thanks so much 😊👏🏽 I’m amazed with how different the throttle controller and exhaust makes the jimny combined. It’s like a different car with more hp! 💪🏽
So how are you finding the exhaust? I just purchased a second hand Torqit system that was on a Jimny for 10 minutes, owners wife did not like it. Looking forward to fitting it, mine is the same color as yours but manual, based in New Zealand.
I side exit piped my JB74 Jimny (GWagen style), and it was great around town, had a nice note but on the highway thou at 35000rpm (120km/h) faaaarrkkk me it was loud and annoying after a while.
Looking forward to more videos where you drive the car with the new exhaust… How do you find it now you have had it for a while? Has it becoming too loud or annoying?
Hey! I'll definitely be posting an update soon. It's been awesome so far. It's loud but you get used to it and the tone settles in the more you use it. It has a more settle, nice noise now than in contrast to what it had in the beginning. I'm stoked with it! 🙌🏽
Hey @@ExploreJimny how the sound on the highway? I’m considering one of these as they definitely sound amazing, just curious if you get a constant drone while doing 110?
@@brianhatchard4756 Hey! It can get a bit loud on the highway going 110. Personally, it doesn't bother me as I don't drive too much on the highway on a day-to-day basis, but if you're commuting a lot back and forth it could become a bit annoying over time. On the Jimny XL however, it's not as noticeable as the exhaust is further back. On the 3-door however the exhaust is closer to the driver essentially so there is a bit more noise.
@@ExploreJimny my highway average about 7.7l/100km, city about 8.2l/100km while offroad depends on the severity; can be anywhere 9ish l/100km and higher, all this on 215/75r15 KM3 s', btw have been observing since I got it in 2019. The range /odometer/speedometer readings will all changes because of the wheel diameter . It does not mean that the car is actually giving you less mileage.
It sounds amazing, congratulations on the new exhaust!
Thanks so much!! 💪🏽🙌🏽
Yewww soooo good Malin. Was great to have you down in Newcastle
Such a good trip! We’ll have to do it again sometime! 🙌🏽😊

Anything helps the little Jimny engine! - the main change you'll notice is increased fuel efficiency and a much better exhaust note
Hi, what rims are you using with the 235/75 tyres? are they the stock rims?

Hey sorry late response! Did you install it? I love it hey - so sick. Gives the car so much more personality 😁
Amazing note ...one querry , is the catalytic converter deleted now ?
Also what's the tyre size on your Jimny ?
235/75/15 BF Goodrich KO2s with Dynamic Steel 15" rims

Do you feel any change in the acceleration?
Yeah it has more power and goes easier on the fuel. Even better with the throttle controller on top for sure 🫶🏽
what a range difference between 235's vs 215's (abt 30% less range on the 235's)
Nah it's not that much. It's about 15% less I'd say from stock to 235/75/15, but it really depends on how you drive the vehicle as well.

Whatever happened to part 3?
I honestly never got to it but I incorporated it into the Throttle Controller review! :) Check out that video
