Great shots! She pulled up nice and sharp, didn't she! Then again, I suppose it was easily done with only her own weight on board. The 777 still stands as my favourite of all aircraft that I've flown on, not that I'm as experienced a flyer as many, so it's especially sad to watch the sun slowly going down on them. Still, thankfully we've got all this great footage of them, capturing the sights and fantastic GE-90 sounds!
Certainly a stunner, thanks for watching!
Smooth landing
Nice landing!
Brilliant capture!
Cheers mate
Another awesome video covering of this fab aircraft. Well done ✈️✈️✈️✈️🛫🛬🛩🛬🛩🛫
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed
Beautiful landing and fair old crosswind too. Whoever said this was a “hard” landing wasn’t watching the aircraft land. The smell tyres is quite normal
Stunning aircraft! Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video 😉
Wow what a landing!!!!

Awesome video mate... wow so sad but a beautiful aircraft... keep up the great work 👍🏻😃
Thanks Callum! Glad you enjoyed the video! Take care mate!
Great video. Cheers :)
Thank you! Cheers!
Frome 1955, I was 26 years in the RAF. Only two types of aircraft from that time are still around. Aircraft come and go....all part of life's rich pageantry.
Indeed! Thanks for watching!
the Virgin Atlantic 747 is the exact aircraft i flew on from Manchester to JFK
Excellent! You can find a video of that in my channel!
Great catches mate!
Thank you! Cheers!
I have seen G-ZZZB many times. The first time I saw her was in 1997 in the Landor livery at Heathrow. Very sad to see another plane of my 1990s childhood leave.
Wow! Your so lucky! It’s so sad she was retired!
Nice video. I have subscribed.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed!
In the intro is that málaga airport
Yeah it is mate! Thanks for watching!

@@BradleyPennyAviation oh ok
Great video!! Where abouts did you film this?? Gonna be at St Athan tomorrow for CIVI’s arrival and not sure where to go, park the car etc etc. Your help will be appreciated
The road is called Llantwit Road, just drive to the end, park up and enjoy! Thanks for watching!
Awesome video mate! Such a sad sight seeing all of these aircraft getting retired. RIP
I know right! Such a shame!

Cheers mate!
Thanks so much for watching!
Nice one pal!
Planespotting Ringway Thanks Charlie!
Can you join the call?
Yep
Sorry can you in 25 mins?
Okay cool
You said it was a hard landing. To me the video makes it look like a very smooth landing. I've seen much worse. I guess you had to be there.
I said it was hard because all we spelt for around 10 minutes was burning rubber from the tires! You had to be there to understand :) anyway thanks for watching and pointing that out!
@@BradleyPennyAviation Perhaps it's because they used all of the brakes to the max, because the landing itself seems very smooth to me
@@PlanesAndGames732 it certainly wasn’t a bad landing by any means, the pilot did a great job!
Great video, many of these aircraft at St Athan May still have a future, only last week a 737 left to the states for cargo conversion from there👍
Cheers mate! That great, I’m happy they are being passed on! Take care!
@@BradleyPennyAviation you too bro👍
Excellent vid. I used to sweep that runway and hangars and rooms when it was RAF St. Athan and I was an air cadet and we'd go there for gliding which was routinely cancelled so we'd end up being given shit jobs to do to keep us busy. Sad to see those great planes there because of the bigger tale it tells, but good to see the place kept open. That runway's a bit short for some of those aircraft though, I would've thought.
That’s amazing! Thanks so much for your comment! Wow!
Nice one!
Thanks Miles!
When is your Northumberland video coming out?
@@BradleyPennyAviation Thursday
Great video mate. I have flown on that beautiful aircraft dozens of times. First time was a week after she went into service. I think it’s tragic that they are destroying these birds because It’s my firm belief that the Boing 787 fleet will start falling apart very quickly. These first 3 have a good 6 to 8 years left in them for Trans Atlantic work.
Thanks so much for watching! Such a shame they are being retired
🤙🏻
👍🏼
Hello sir
Hello! Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed ✈️
Good shots. It would be great if some text could be provided on the video showing the age of the plane for these retirement flights.
Good idea, thank you! I will definitely add that next time! For your information the aircraft is 25 years old and the regeneration is G-ZZZB! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Had to look away when I saw G-VAST 😪
Such a a sad sight :(
where exactly is St.Athan airport?
It’s South Wales!
Thanks so much mate! 😉
What’s the registration of the two BA Boeing 777-200s you see at the start of the video?
I’m unsure on the first one the second one is G-ZZZB, Thanks for watching
Farewell G-ZZZB. She probably would have been retired regardless of COVID-19 but... it’s still sad to see the original BA 777-200s go.
Aviation LBA I am actually surprised they didn’t retire the plane five years ago.
I’m not, she still has many years of life left in her. Unfortunately, she will be scrapped at St Athan.
It’s very sad indeed! She was very old I guess her flying time had to come to an end :(
British airways couldn’t afford to keep its older jets.,,
She was still fit to fly, she was just so old and not efficient to BA anymore!
So nice video👍🏼👍🏼😍
I make my channel today and I am so happy about that
Thank you very much! I will take a look at your channel!
CAN ANYONE TELL ME , WHAT AN AIR INDIA A-319(PROBABLY) DOING HERE , AS I NOTICED IN THE VIDEO @Bradly penny Aviation. when was she brought
I know right! It landed 5 days ago from Tbilisi! Thanks for watching!
i wanna buy it lol! reckon they would let me have it for a tenner lol?
I do to! They are around £10,000,000 - £2,000,00! We both better get saving! Thanks for watching!
Goodbye non ER BA 777s😭😭
Rest in peace! Cheers mate! Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video 😉
You definitely need a muffler for that mike.
I certainly do! I will order some now! Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for watching!
If that’s classed as a hard landing in Wales you should spend more time in Asia!
Haha! Who said it was hard! It was perfect! Thanks for watching!
sad BA are retiring their 777 slowly
Gemini jets Collector It is indeed! Thanks for your comment mate! Take care!
