Dude I just installed the F750 and F550 cameras in my car this morning and I really needed this video like six hours ago! But thank you for making this video.
I thought I could access the cam from inside my house if I hard wired it, but I have to go to the cam and hit the wifi button to connect? Let me know if that's the case or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

i have looked at sooo many software for dashcams but NONE of them can upload the videos automatically when i drive home into my driveway and garage.
Basically, this is what i think i WANT! ....
when i get home, i want the camera to automatically connect to my home or work WIFI. then i want it to AUTOMATICALLY UPLOAD ALL VIDEOS TO MY HOME NETWORK'S NAS.
is ther a brand out there whos dashcam system can connect to my home WIFI and upload automatically?( not a wifi connecting to the dashcam hotspot!)
I'm sure it said that updates can be done with app for the unit. I can't find how its done though.
I cannot get my thinkware to not announce how to hook up to wifi. I have 2 cameras, In one car I got it to not announce and the other I cannot turn off wifi on the camera
You'd need to connect to the dash cam via the hotspot method once to stop this message.

Can I use this app with the F200 it won’t connect ? It connects to the think ware cloud but not the viewer
The F200 does not have Cloud. Use the "Dashcam Viewer" app when you look up Thinkware.
Can you show actual footage downloaded to the phone.
Huh it's confusing? How do I get to get the camera turn on to access wifi. I need dc plug adapter ?
You just need to plug it into your car and turn the car on
Does it show on the app your memory card limit?
The memory card will automatically loop over existing footage, however if the camera is unable to loop and is at it's limit, it will notify you. Through the memory partitioning section of the app it can show you how the space on the card will be dispersed between the different recording types, however it won't show you live what and how much is on the card. You can check the space of the card by attaching the SD card to your computer.
What device are you using to power the camera out of the car please? I want to know if the camera can be powered via an external camera bank please?
Hi Jonathan, We are just using a cigarette socket power inverter (plugged into wall) to make these videos
How to get access to time setting? Mine one is not correct
Check at about the 6:03 mark in the video. If your dash cam doesn't keep accurate track of time after you've adjusted the time zone, your unit may need further troubleshooting.

Great video do you think it's possible and efficient to use rear cam as backup camera? Does the WiFi have a big lag?
Thanks for the compliment. It's possible but there is about a 1 second delay, and connecting to the Wifi is about a one minute process so not very ideal, but does work.
Can the F750 rear camera be reused with any newer thinkware dash cams?
Unfortunately not - the rear dash cams are different.

@@TimeforchangeTrudeaumustgoEndb Definitely outdated, so we'd recommend upgrading to at least the Q800PRO or U1000 if you're staying within the Thinkware lineup.
For the F770, is there a way to disable the little blue light in the rear camera?
No unfortunately, some customers will use a small piece of electrical tape to cover this.
BlackboxMyCar I thought about that but was worried that it may effect the motion sensor (or whatever)
Oh it won't as the motion sensor is based on the sensor behind the lens. The blue light is just a security feature/lets you know the camera is on.
So I have to be at my dash cam to do all this?
Hi there, yes - you have to be within the dash cam's wi-fi intranet to be able to access it via your phone.
You said at the end of the Thinkware app video you were going to make a desktop viewer video have you done this yet?

How do you determine what range to adjust the voltage? Should I just keep it at 12.3 and 24.6? Does it depend on the car I drive?
arnoldgd84 hi Arnold, the lower you set it the more recording time you'll get but you'll also put more strain on the battery. for most passenger cars we set it between 12.0 to 12.2V

BlackboxMyCar should i keep the second slider on the app at 24.6?
arnoldgd84 it wont matter if your car has a 12v system. 24v settings is generally only for commercial truck applications
For the safety camera alert, does that work the same way as a radar detector for police cars? Like can it detect police vehicles?
Blackvue app is so much better. No need to manually connect to blackvue wifi.
