I use the Alogo sensor on my horse. It’s good for training my feeling in many dimensions of my riding and how the horse is jumping. However it relies on uploading and reviewing the results post ride and I would love immediate feedback like you have shared with the sensors you use. I love that you share yourself authentically. The time is now for “horse people” to be great “people people”. Keep up the great work
A couple of my worst position habits are leaning in on the left lead (I tend to drop my inside shoulder and raise my outside shoulder) and knee pinching. If you know of any training aids or tips that could help with these problems, I would love to hear about them! The sensor setup for the reins and stirrups looks super cool, I never would have thought about that as a training aid.
A coach once had me ride while wearing a weight slung around my neck (like those half-circle neck pillows, but thinner; not sure what it originally was meant for). It really forces you to keep your shoulders straight and quiet or the the weight will slide off to one side! Something like two beanbags on either end of a tied-off sock would probably have the same effect.
I’m curious, what training aids have you used in your training?
