Please only send campaigns on the verge of defeat or battles you can't win. Auto resolve wins won't be accepted. Modded campaigns are not currently accepted. Please only send campaigns/battles on large or ultra unit scale. Normal and small unit scale will not be accepted. Not currently accepting Realm of Chaos campaigns/battles.
Please keep in mind the volume of emails I receive and that not all disaster submissions will receive a response. I will try to get to as many as possible. Feel free to "bump" your email once every 24 hours by responding to your submission with bump. Do not resend the save file multiple times as it will clog up my inbox storage.

This could be a good hotseat style series. You team up with another creator and both of you create an extreme disaster campaign for each other to fix.
This! There's something sad about the fact that we're likely never going to see this campaign again if the player does succeed. I need to know how it ends!

In this timeline, the Milanese Duke goes completely insane after one too many assassination attempts. Convinced the Pope and all catholicism was out to get him, he renounces all ties to civilization and leads his bankrupt realm into pilgrimage to the new holy lands in the middle east, convinced salvation lies only in a purse incapable of buying earthly delights, found in hardship.
And then he gets nuked by mongols and timurids
He also sends all scum and villany (spies n assassins) on a one way trip to edge of the earth
"Legend, can you please create a disaster campaign?"

Instead of saving a disaster campaign, Legend is creating a disaster campaign. Wow, now this is an amazing idea. I'd love to potentially see this as a series if at all possible.
I dont see it beeing as vast of a series as fixing disasters since there isnt that much variety in it. I do think it has a couple of very fun videos 1-2 for every total war game (not Sure if theres more variety in warhammer)

I enjoy when he does his little rat laugh. The one reserved for when he knows he's just does some real sneaky shit, and takes a pause to appreciate it. There's a good few in this one. I particularly enjoyed laugh following the agents being sent up to Ireland, and his glee at the image of the campaign owner having to frog march his armies all the way back to Italy
"Create a disaster campaign" sounds like a great series idea
I can't imagine there can be much variety in creating disasters. You'll just have to do the same thing for every save file.
@@amitmeena2961maybe a saving your homemade disaster campaign where players can conquer the entire world except for one faction which Legend have to use console commands to play as. This gives the AI an advantage as they're benefitting from the player's great army compositions, amazing generals/agents, forts and rich regions. AI would probably make smarter campaign map decision as well since they only have one enemy left to deal with.

@@madboy1105 Disaster campaigns are never repetitive. It's a challange.
I think them occasionally sprinkled in and then maybe making the save file accessible on some repository so people can try their hand at it would be pretty fun.
I could see Legend finding ways to spice it up, especially over multiple Total War titles. Probably won’t hold as much ground as the SYDCs, but could be fun to do every once and a while?
We should call that “sabotage your healthy campaign” so SYHC instead of SYDC at this point… lol cool, a new concept, that’s nice ! 😂

Intresting experiment, but for true series we would need a vid of the player DEALING with all this stuff. Some x time speed followup where Legend can grade movements and decisions would be nice. Also for the series we would need players around Legends level and how many players like that exist and would be intrested in doing something like that? Reverse wouldn't work well either because you need to know when to stop piling obstacles for it to be still winnable.
I'd actually like to see couple videos like that, with others dealing with the mess. It sounds refreshing.
@Viryu9 Maybe a different approach? Challenge from Legend to his community. He sets up a disaster save, gives rules, turns limits, and asks for recordings x time speed. And picks a winner or top 3 depending on how well they performed. Though I'm not sure how many people would participate. It could be a few people, or it could look like letters from the 1st Harry Potter.
Intresting would be if he send it back to Legend as he receive, with Fix This!
I honestly think whoever requested this one is actually baiting Legend into sharing all the tricks he's got at making campaigns as disastrous as possible, just so the future SYDC can get even worse for him.
Legend seems fairly good at spotting artificial SYDB/C so I doubt it’ll change much he’ll just refuse artificial ones if he has genuine ones sent in…
@@cynicalfox190He's said before he'll do artificial ones as long as they bring something interesting to the table and make for a good vid, so itll be up to disaster campaign architects to make it interesting i suppose
57:10 you forgot a single army with 4 crossbows, Dego the Mean’s army is going to be his saving grace.
I think deleting those crossbows and disembarking agents plus deleting the ship they are on are the 2 fixes needed to full break the campaign
@@extratayodancer Agreed, unloading the agents onto the island of Ireland and then disbanding the ships, trapping the agents there would have been the final nail in the coffin here

I would love if he could throw the SYDC and SYDB saves in a google drive so we can kind of follow along. That’s what I kinda did when I was learning how to play M2TW with his HRE campaign.

Defeat seems almost certain, only a military genius can bring them victory from that disgrace
getting rid of the assassin fleet in ireland to save on upkeep should be easy, he never disembarked the agents so it's trivial to split off the fleet, leave all the agents with just one ship, send them to their deaths against an enemy fleet, then send the rest of the ships one at a time to their doom against an enemy fleet to basically inflict defeat in detail on yourself
Yeah, I'm kind of puzzled as to why he didn't disembark them and disband the fleets? Is there some exploit that can kill all of the agents off in one turn or something?

Those ships is the easy ticket back to Europe, why would anyone want to throw them away? I guess Legend just forgot to disband them.
This is great, like watching demolition team demolish a building in a crowded area, get rid of all the furniture, then the windows and landscaping, then the interior walls etc.
I like how he was in such a good position that it took you ten turns of screwing around to make him start losing money

You may not be able to disband agents, but you can send them on a ship to fight a much more powerful fleet. This is how I permanently vacated the papacy after taking over the world :)
The idea of just shipping the papacy off in a boat and never seeing them again makes me laugh
This is great, Love it, and definitely would like to watch more of this. Also would enjoy watching a live stream of you trying to save it as well. I would not mind trying to fix it myself either.

Sicily was the ultimate faction for me because of the Norman knights, absolutely loved them.
I think a lot of us would like to see you fix this campaign at a later date.
Very cool idea and interesting. Though i have to say maybe a few cuts in the video would be good because a lot of the disaster setup is a bit tideous 😂 and i really would like to know now how the player who sent it deals with it haha

It takes a legend who knows how to get out of disasters to also know how to make the worst possible, but still beatable disaster campaign.

What I could think of to make worse is to land all agents in Ireland and then disband their ships. Because then he can't attempt to sink them so easily.

Did it with Otomo, Had 5 squads of 3 agents (1 of each kind). priests cause riot, and ninja and the police guy defend it. I got them all to max level super fast and got to control most of the map withour ever declaring war.
I remember sending agents and kisho ninjas to my enemy's territory. Literally Sengoku Jidai spec ops.

Perhaps you can do a Create a Disaster Campaign series where people send you their campaigns going really well, and you have a set number of turns (like, 3-5 turns) to screw it up as hard as possible. Just to see how efficiently you can cock it up, some real virtuosic fucking up.
Call the series - causing a disaster campaign - and let the viewers try to solve it:)
58:00 the disaster campaign where you only had a general without anything (1 general no retinue) but also a lot of debt is still my favourite.
I think Milan is the strongest faction in Total War, because every time I play this game on the hundredth round or so this faction is able to occupy many territories, they also invade other factions. Milan alone fights many factions but is able to defend its territory.

Its kinda crazy how after 2-3 turns of doing certain things you get attacked by Holy Roman Empire, French, Moors, Egyptians all almost completely Synced with each other.
Would love to see this as a steam. Medieval 2 content is my favourite

Also, anyone has other disaster campaign save files they managed to find for Medieval II Total War, I'd be happy to give them a try myself. If you know of a hub or website that people share this I'd definitely would like to check that out!
