Wow I only can get 4000 pep out of my 3-500z box.. and I have 3850 plate volts..check my line voltage coming into the house and I had to 2 40 and key down and still didn't drop that much .
@@gumptechnologyjtgamps723 10-4 gump! This is a multi-band ham amp. It has eimacs which i know wont do as much as taylors or other graphite tubes. It is a Amp supply LK-550. It runs 160-15m but i have the atuff to do the 10m mod.

@@Rooster_Radio got 1 from friend that was selling all his radio equipment out he was going to. Build 1 I had it tested like new but hard to find good transformer

Could be the input or the way it's biased. This amp runs AB. If yours runs class C it will take C considerably more drive
not to bust balls too hard, but harmonic splatter in = harmonic splatter out (the sweep tube driver box) sorry ;)
How many amp is the transformer? My 3 tuber has a 1.75ccs plate transformer..its going out for repair this weekend very curious what its going to do.
minibike madman if u have a 1.75 CCS trans urs should do as much or more with a lil more Drive if built right.

Do you build anything with more than 3 of the 500zs say a 5 or 6 tuber??
@@jeffhicks2070 build one with as many as you want to buy. After a certain point you're better off with one large steel tube.

Rene Seguin no JTG is not the builder. That would be built by Terry 55 in Florida
