What did you think about this game? I’m really digging the gameplay footage, but the reviews for the Steam version are all over the place. I’ve seen a lot of people complain that the game doesn’t “feel” good to play, but that’s so subjective I don’t know what to make of it.
I can definitely feel where people are torn. The review goes up tomorrow and it's a somewhat positive but can see where it won't work for everyone vibe. It's definitely a bit twitchy and, as always, aiming with a controller for me is inconsistent at best. That said, getting in close with melee is often a good move anyway and some of the weapons have some spread so accuracy isn't super essential. I will say that if you're not into the roguelike vibe and just simply playing through some intensity for its own sake you probably would get bored once you check out each of the classes and play through a bit. There's no underlying story or bigger picture material to keep you coming back beyond just the fun of it.
