The Simple Reason Watatsumi Worshiped Orobashi | The Serpent Drake of Tokoyo No Kuni Audiobook

The Serpent Drake of Tokoyo No Kuni tells the tale of a Enkanomiya and the conditions the people there endured. The people there went from one overbearing entity to the next until at last a child encountered the one called the "Profane Serpent" otherwise known as Orobashi (Orobaxi).
Presumably the Serpent god then helped lead the Enkanomiyan people to freedom in Watatsumi, but does this mean the conditions are still poor in Enkanomiya? Answers we'll have to wait for future updates to obtain.

What really stuck out to me about this lore entry was the God of Tokoyo. If you translate this from Japanese, it roughly means the God of Eternal Night. So it sounds like there was a god that came across Enkanmiya before Orobashi. But that leaves a lot of questions in my mind. Like who exactly is this god and where did they go?

I got goosebumps the first time i went to the entrance to enkanomiya, maybe even to this day, actually. there's just something about a large dark spot in a body of water that terrifies me.. i get this feeling that i would get sucked down into the abyss or some Eldritch sea monster lurks there 😅
Also despite being a Pisces, i can't for the life of me float, let alone swim lol

What if we meet the dragonheir? What if to make amends the Shogun goes to Sangonomiya Island to stop the erosion/investigate the link to Enkanomiya? When will we get actual footage of the abyss as a playable level???
There's still so much the game can give us and I'm so excited for the possibilities!
And then there's the talk of "other worlds" that aren't the Travelers' world or Teyvat???

This might just overthinking on my part but I think this story might have some bits of the actual lore hidden into it
The sun , the stars children of the sun
The murals on Surumi have these a sun surrounded by 4 stars and exactly 3 of them have a shine perhaps represents the 3 moon goddesses and one without any shine yet shown somehow connected to the sun could be the son of the sun who took over and a brutal rule S you mentioned
