Great video brother. I have a 2012. Has a p0307 p0302. The p0307 is felt all the time. The code reads P0307 injector turned off and misfire cylinder 7. Pulled the plug on cylinder 7 and cylinder 8 . Both cylinders had a puddle of oil on top of the pistons. Cylinder 8 spark plug came out soaked in oil. Cylinder 7 has oil wetness on the threads. They also appear to be newish. At .036 gap. They don’t have a ton of wear either, almost appear to be firing normally on that bank so far. Perhaps cylinder misfire on 7 is due to failing spark plug tube seals on Bank 2. And concern is only felt on cylinder 7 at the moment. Removed cylinder 2 spark plug. Very oxidized looking. White in color compared to Bank 2 plugs . Henceforth indicating a lean condition misfire. Possibly due to a broken air filter tube on Bank 1? Inspected Air filters with my borescope . Both air filters appear to have been replaced recently. Very clean. Also there are witness marks on strut tower brace bolts. Appears that some work has recently been performed on this vehicle.

Have the same issue, I’m going to be replacing the PCV hose on the driver side since I see a lot of build up around the area that connects to the valve cover. If this doesn’t fix my issue the it’s onto the fuel injectors spark plugs and ignition coils. I recently replaced the turbo unless since it was broken and was loose and did not seal air tight around the turbo so a lot of unmetered air was getting
I have the same bmw but mine has misfire on 4,5,6 and replaced plugs&coils and still has the same misfire on the same cylinders. What else could be the problem?
It is a small possibility if you can swap plug with one next to it first and see where misfire is at then swap coil to a different cylinder and see if it follows and finally test injector with noid light and compression tests
On my sons car Bank 1 “cylinders 1,2,3,4” all have misfires. Replaced coils, spark plugs, gasket into turbo and replaced the pcv hose. Any other ideas? Codes I got off dash after I unlocked it are : 01 E11474 02 E11480 03 B7F685 04 B7F668

@@slimsautomotiverepair8714 Today i pulled the Vanos solenoids as well as the cam shaft sensor and cleaned them. Still no change. It there something that would cause Bank one to completely shut down and not fire at all? Tomorrow I will be doing a compression test to make sure there isnt leaks in the head gasket. Thanks again
I found a bulletin for carbon buildup on intake valves from bmw. As well as high pressure fuel sensor and pumps going bad and causing this issue if you have the ability to scope the valves and check the fuel pressure for desired and actual it would help narrow down
wouldnt fuel pressure cause misfires on both banks since my whole bank 1 is misfiring but bank two isnt misfiring at all. Its like someone turn off a switch. Car was running fine, turned off the car then turned it back on 30min later and drivetrain malfunction 0:03

@@slimsautomotiverepair8714 Hi there and hello from Brooklyn NY, If I may ask you a question relating to this subject, I have a 2012 550i gt x drive . It has about 170,000 miles on it. It runs smoothly and starts right up. The only issue is firing. .. in multiple cylinders when trying to drive a little hard..i have had mis firing from 1 ..to 8.. but then it goes away. And when I check codes it will say a mis firing is gone in a cylinder that was reading it prior...so inwas wonder before I start to change stuff if this could be a vacuum issue. Because it has only happened during a high Rev when I hit gas by accident and Rev to 4 thousand rmp.. and when I put car into sports mode plus and try to give it some gas..at at first all is fine car runs very smoothly but then I get drive train malfunction.. " limited to 40 mph. Then if I shut off car it will go away after a while or a day. So I was trying to figure out how to identify a leak in the system. I have a computer obx and it only reads the mis firing codes and nothing else. Usually it will be in only 1 cylinder..like 8 or 5. And pending in others.. but I clear the code too and it really would have done it on its own I think. I tried to be detailed as I'm a 30 year plumber..thank you for any assistance.
If you suspect a vacuum leak try a smoke test on the intake system the tester is cheap enough like 50 bucks and has many many uses I've come to find you can also try ether while it runs but does not always work due to fuel trims keeping newer cars at one idle and last would be to try and bore scope the valves for carbon build up if it direct injection
