John I'm curios what differences would you say are between ys 640 and the gorilla. Does product come out the same. I would say the 640 has more capacity. The Gorilla seems like excellent choice for the money. Ribs came out good. At present I'm using Weber 22 and still experimenting.
There is no difference in food quality. However on the YS 640 I can put 10-11 slabs of ribs on it. With the Silverbac I can only fit 6 slabs on it. I have another rib video I did that shows the Silverbac packed with ribs. The Silverbac is 26” wide and has a little top cooking grate you can get the add on extension for the top rack you could get 7 racks on then. The Yoder is 36” wide and has a full second second top rack. Both Yoder and Grilla Grills have outstanding customer service it all boils down to price I think you will be happy with either of these two company’s. Johnny
One thing I will add is because of the position of the fire pot on the Yoder which is all the way to the left of the grill instead of in the center of the grill liked the Silverbac the Yoder acts more like an offset smoker.
