- Congratulations to Tammy Trent for 25 years of ministry!!!
25 years ago this Spring, Tammy released her first album and 6 weeks later, her first single, Your Love is 4 Always, reached #1 on the CHR (Christian Hit Radio) Chart. She and Trent started out on a great adventure. 6 years later...her plan changed. But not God’s. He took a tragedy and turned it into a triumph as He’s used Tammy’s story and her passion for Him to heal the hearts of millions of women all across the world.
Last night, was a SURPRISE celebration to honor Tammy for her heart, passion, and courage.
Tammy…it’s been 25 years of ministry for you. That’s such an incredible milestone! All the times you sang Amy Grant songs into your hairbrush in your bedroom growing up has paid off! LOL.
We all came here to honor you, to love on you, and to thank you for the incredible journey that you’ve traveled over the last 25 years.
Musically, you’ve put out 6 albums and have had a handful of top 10 and #1 songs over the years. But that’s just a small part of who you are and what your ministry is about. Millions of lives across the world have been changed, because of your faithfulness…because of the way that you make people laugh…because of the beautiful sound that comes out of your mouth when you sing to Jesus…because of the dance in your step…and because of the HOPE that you instill in the hearts of those who have heard you share your powerful story.
There’s only one person missing…Trent…I know that he’d be so proud of you.
It’s such an incredible honor for me…to know that Jesus picked ME…to walk by your side the last 17.5 years of your ministry. We’ve had to navigate the boundaries of learning to be business partners AND best friends, all at the same time. There were definitely some rough patches LOL!!!! But do you know what you learn, when you walk so closely with someone like that?
Their character.
You are a woman of incredible character. You are quick to say I’M SORRY when you know that you’ve been wrong. You are quick to PRAY the moment that you hear of any kind of need. You are quick to HELP the moment that someone asks for it. And you are quick to GIVE to anyone that Jesus places on your heart to give to.
One of my favorite memories of traveling on the road with you…was that time a couple of years ago, when the women’s director that booked you in to a women’s event was diagnosed with cancer and was hospitalized before the event so wasn’t able to attend. After the event ended, you asked if you could go see her at the hospital. It was late at night…and we both were exhausted. But you still wanted to go see her. So we did. I can picture being in that hospital room as if it were yesterday. Seeing her sweet smile and the JOY that she had…and seeing how thankful she was that you chose to visit her and pray over her. A month or 2 later, she went to Heaven. And the church contacted us to let us know…telling us how very grateful she was that you chose to stop by that night.
That’s the kind of woman that you are.
There are so many more things that I could say. But as you know, I don’t tend to be a woman of many words. SO, I put together a video that says it all.

So very proud of you Tammy Trent Linderlink..did I spell that right?!!! I'll never forget meeting you and Trent the first time. We were all being picked up at the airport for some event and I was glad to realize you were a girl's girl, so down to earth.. and so FUNNY.. and what a great dancer!! You are a super talent, one of the strongest women of God i've ever known. You've never wavered in your convictions, your faith and your kindness. I can't wait to see what God will do in our life in the next 25 years and where He will take you! Congrats on 25 Years in serving our Jesus.. shine on my friend!!!
