I’m just now using the ILLIYOON ceramide cream and love it 😍. Since my skin is on the dry side, I use it as a daily moisturizer under makeup. It goes on very smoothly. I do not find it to be too thick for me, but if you have oily skin, try a lighter version.
No doubt it's a miracle cream. My mom's skin is super sensitive and reacts to mostly all the Korean skincare products but this is her as well as my holy grail product.
I found this cream very Amazing!!! I had ordered mine and not long ago received it and I can tell you I’m not going back!!! I really appreciate K beauty it’s been very hard to find products that’s genuinely gentle.
I with you 100%!! Im literally so thankful for coming across this cream, it truly is the best for sensitive skin! I’ve managed to put my sister onto this cream too and she loves it! Thank you for sharing your experience 😊🙏
@@itskimlac Absolutely your Welcome!!! This is a wonderful cream and I’m looking forward to exploring more Korean beauty for my skincare needs because I struggle up to age 36 and I finally found products that deep effort and thought was put into creating these products and I’m glad I have access to be able to purchase these products!!! My dream is to go to Olive Young Physical Store one day 🤎
@@samantadallas5393 I agree! I feel like a lot of Korean skincare is formulated so much nicer and softer for our skin! There are soothing toners and essences that I would love to try but am worried about getting irritation 🥹 visiting a skincare store in Korea would be a dream yesss!! Do you have any recommendations for other Korean skincare products you love?
@@itskimlac So my current faves is CosRX snail 96 mucin power essence, Pure’AM barrier cream, Anua HeartLeaf 77% soothing toner and of course the illyoon ato ceramides cream!! I do have some others I wanna try but I ease them slowly into my routine!! And my Sunblock is Herbloom Calming days vegan sunscreen and my eye cream is AHC essential, All the products I use is gentle for me because I also use Tretinoin and Azelaic acid 🤎
@@samantadallas5393 you’ve got a great product line up there! I’m so jealous you can use snail mucin 😭 I had a bad allergic reaction to it as apparently if you’re allergic to dust, there is a high chance you’d be allergic to snail mucin too and I didn’t know about that before buying it haha. Im deffo going to ease more hydrating Korean products into my routine and if I find any goodies I’ll review them!! 🤍
7:08 - That is how I apply EVERYTHING. Wet my palms (not dripping), and then disperse it on my whole palms (and fingers), and then get it on the face quick, long before it dries. So much easier! can get the smoothest, most evenly dispersed layer ever, and I end up using less this way, because I'm not struggling to spread the product around, and then it gets too dry to spread and it's a nightmare doing it how people usually apply products for me. Then it dries down really nicely, and not sticky at all, which is great for gel-like products in particular I think. For my tretinoin I wet my fingers, but I don't use my palms (but I also apply a lot of it, so it's easier to slowly spread around fully without issue, same with sunscreen). I always had rather oily skin, but these days I'm only just now coming to the realisation that my skin just isn't oily anymore. I identify with oily skin lol. My tretinoin cream is quite thick, and 5-10 minutes after applying that, I don't feel it on my skin anymore, which is bizarre. So I'll be trying this moisturiser and seeing what happens there. It's thick, but applies nicely and apparently wears like a medium-weight moisturiser.
Does this give a matte finish or greasy/shine after application? Also you mentioned you apply it nights only is that because its too rich for daytime use? Thanks in advance x
Is the cream safe for oily skin?? I have extremely clog prone skin. Even the cleanest skincare products clog my pores. I have a very oily tzone too So do you think it would be okay for me to use?
Find the ingredient that you think might be clogging your pores. I use even expensive ones like Kiehls which is great, however I easily buildup closed comedones in my nose after a day or 2. Ceteryl alcohol, stearic acid, cetereth-20, are usually the suspect but may differ on other people. Hoping you can find yours
Hello! Thanks for your question. The cream is formulated in a very thick way and I do believe it can work for your skin if you are happy with apply to wet skin after cleansing, as this will help to think he texture down a little bit. However, if you are still worried, I would suggest trying the gel formulation that is available too. Gels tend to be friendlier for oily/clogging-prone skin :).
