So sad that backyard is still getting juiced boxes from panini. They are one of the worst for the hobby. Wish they just quit the hobby

@@billrichardson5993 kid, last year they pulled 3-5 of the tip cards in the hobby. They ran test, the odds of that happening was less than 1%. They get loaded boxes kid

My hypothetical biggest pull this week was probably gonna be one of the five cards that were missing from one of my five 2023-24 Panini Select hanger boxes. Those "3 per box on average" Tectonics were gone, plus two cards. Was it oversight? Were they pocketed by a scuzzy card packer? It's a shame that I even have to scrutinize. #GettingPaninied

these people KILL me how they man-handle the cards... The screaming, shaking the cards around, dropping them, slamming them in penny/toploaders is just a crime.... I saw a top 10 pull video a few days ago where a Pink Wemby was suppposed to be like a 8,000 card and the guy SLAMMED the corners into THE FACE of stack of cards that had a top loader on it... a good 3 or more times. #5 just slammed it into a penny and top loader like it was a $10 card and not a $10,000 card! #3 is just shaken around and dropped on the table to maybe slide around.... #1 is supposed to be a $25,000 1/1 wemby and the stack is just snatched up with no care of what the corners or edges end up like. You can go fast and still have the hands of a surgeon. And pls STFU with all the screaming and cursing... why? You can hype up your customers big hits and have fun with them without all of this.
That Diego Benitez 1/1 is NO WHERE near $4,000 . That maybe an $800-$900 card . How do you calculate that price I’m just curious ???
- I’m happy to finally see some Soccer cards. It’s all I collect now as I think they are Topps’ best product. Very tired of just watching people pull Wembys.

Personally, if everybody was smart the last place they would have their stuff graded is psa. They are falling hard and to be honest, you're going to get a way better product when graded through bgs Beckett. The value of a 10 is actually worth way more than a PSA 10. PSA is struggling right now just to keep their head afloat and the last thing I would do is put any money into that company😂😂😂
I pulled a 2023-24 Panini Select Stephen Curry Mezzanine Black Finite 1 of 1 out of a blaster box.
With literally every Kaboom from this year being the EXACT same "off center" to the right, base Kaboom's, Gold Kaboom's even the 1/1's all with the exact same seemingly off center look I am beginning to wonder if some idiot designer intentionally designed the card this way. If it comes out that they are supposed to be like that it will be hilarious.
Panini needs to do better than that! Just watched a couple videos of the Select White Sparkle packs and every concourse is way off center. They should be ashamed to put out product like that at the insane prices they charge.
I wonder what we will think about a 25k Wemby swoosh that he never even wore 10-15 years down the line 🤔 Or these logoman cards that people pay 6 figures for. You could buy a game used jersey for a fraction of the price of the card, which only has the logo.

Um.... You get a redemption for a sticker auto for the same reason you get a redemption for an on card. The athlete hasn't signed the stickers.. or cards... yet when the product got put together....

Honest question, who in the world keeps buying these LeBron/Steph/vet player "one of ones" without an auto for $5-$10k? There seems to be multiples of these in every product, and seemingly dozens of products. How do any of those cards hold any sort of long term value?

Scarcity = value... A 1/1 Lebron almost never goes on the market (most are kept, sold privately or auction house) so when its on the market all it takes are 3 whale collectors to drive it to a high price. Snakeskin and kaboom are the nicest examples in the hobby as well. Do they hold value? Most likely yes. Jordan has some inserts from the 90s unsigned that reach tens of thousands of dollars. Its just very difficult to find those and completionists will pay anything to get the perfect card that they're missing.
@@andrewg5672 The point about the Whales makes sense. But the biggest difference between those MJs and these are the MJs are actually scarce, not artificially scarce. There also weren't 700 MJ "1 of 1s" put out every single year.
@@TheVgaTV most don't care if it's artificial (I'm not in that boat) but yes It's pretty much a status symbol and grail to have a low numbered lebron for most card collectors. Demand to supply is 10000:1 for a lbj kaboom hence crazy price. I don't think all serial numbered will hold crazy value though, only 1/1s, to 10s, very specific inserts, or very popular parallels for certain sets of very few players. Realistically 90% of all cards will fall flat and trend down as lbj and curry retire. So will cards hold value? Depends and most likely no!

There's literally nothing exciting to rip from pokemon, take it from someone whose been collecting and playing the tcg for 20 years. Because nothing is serialized, literally every single list would just be the same dozen or so cards with the occasional vintage rip mixed in. Just watch maxmoefoe lol.
