Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have a ESAM 4000 machine which has been delivering warm coffee for the five years I've had it, and I'm resigned to microwaving every cup. There is absolutely no mention of this function in the handbook, but thanks to you we can now enjoy hot coffee straight from the machine!!

I have a Magnifica ESAM3300 that's very similar in appearance to your model (mine is silver) but unfortunately this trick doesn't work with it. Maybe it's because it's a 110 volt model. I bought it in 2020. Maybe the software was updated and this function removed.
It does work, press the descale/rinse button instead and the scoop button to change the levels

Machine user manuel says right side for cool drink and left side for more hot. So the hottest drink in one led left side and it's against you said in vedeio

I have also changed heater from 6mm to new 5mm (with two new $2 connectors), really simple. As vendor said "impossible, you have to use 6mm only":)
