Bro good start 😊
Where was the USSR from 1950 to 1986
Apparently the uploader didn't see fit to include it.
The USSR probably kept its military spending secret
@DanIrish409 then why would he include it from 1986? It's probably cuz of lack of data
What about North Korea
Где СССР? 🤦🏻♂️
Its us Americans
I’m in the USA 🇺🇸 😊
I am from Russia free Palestine

Stop saying FREE PALESTINE DID I SAY ISRAEL IS BETTER
Worthless fail. You can't do this without Soviet stats. They were ahead of the USA a few times. And what about China?
As of December 26, 1991 it ceased to exist; it was dissolved.
@@OptimisticHominid He is probably talking about the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s you know, when USSR still existed.
@@reineh3477 Yes, that is correct. Also, I see China got in there towards the end, but I thought they had a huge army even back to 1950 when they sent over 1 million men to help North Korea?
Chinas military is a lot less funded than the USA’s
@@davefranklyn7730the large numbers being sent a short geographic distance was always gonna make the war lopsided in North Korea’s favor, a stalemate wouldn’t have happened without the help of North Korea from China. The United States had to spend much more to get everything over to Asia, while China didn’t have to. If they did, China’s unimpressive military would’ve quickly revealed itself. Their capacity for a high military budget was just not there in 1950, having just ended their multi decade long civil war with a pause in the middle to fight a brutal war with Japan during World War 2. China didn’t start spending a significant amount of money on defense until their economy started booming in the 80’s. It has slowly risen since then to what it is today
It is the powerful and mega force army CHiNAAA
You think china is a world superpower lol

Simple it never spent enough to be posted.

@@OptimisticHominidyes, but where was it from 1950 to 1991? They included other countries that don’t exist before but they added the soviets so late that there was just an over-example of the us being the “best” since 1950. It’s kinda stupid
5:30 here in 1986, it appears in graph chart
and 5:35 here in 1987, It also appears in bar chart too.

AMERICA RAHHHHHHH 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
Is this a joke😂 where is USSR the superpower of century
As of December 26, 1991 it ceased to exist; it was dissolved. You must have missed the memo!
The “superpower” that dissolved before the end of the century 😂
@@elijahsabo3846it dissolved in 1991, which means it should appear for the first 41 years of this list. OP is right, it's weird that it was omitted.
it also could be American’s not wanting to show Russians/Soviets because it could “look” bad for the Americans, but this is unprobable
It’s probably because of a lack of data but still an odd omission
When you compare Russia and U.S Russia weak
Blud really commented Twice💀
Russia isn't real threat. Russia is just bullied by West but west isn't is realized that a dark cloud(China) is developing in other part of the world to counter even better the USSR.
Only if you look at how much they spend. The US is ahead in aircraft and navy, but Russia has more (and better) tanks, more artillery, bigger manpower, etc. Even the Chinese army is weaker than the Russian one, despite spending more money. Huge spendings didn't help the US to defeat the Taliban, which says a lot about combat effectiveness of the American army.
@@kurilrick2207 Massive cope, earlier this year Russia brought back 1950's era tanks due to them losing an estimated half of their pre Russo-Ukrainian war stockpile. They are currently undergoing a massive population crisis as by 2050 they are projected to have around 110-120 million people by 2050, roughly 30-35% of the US estimated population at that same time (depending on which estimates you use). Russian artillery is ahead of the US by total number however the effectiveness of said artillery is questionable as seen in their ongoing invasion.
The reason the US struggled in Afghanistan is mainly due to the type of conflict being fought. Most of it being gorilla fighting which is much harder than traditional warfare. The US has shown itself to be extremally proficient in relatively recent conflicts such as the gulf war and the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
The Chinese likely could capitulate Russia within 12 months of war being declared, with the US being able to do so much quicker. I'm not entirely sure Russia could defeat a country like France or Japan in a one on one fight.
@@keiAytea What is really a "massive cope" is your reasoning being the US fauile over Afghanistan. If the US really could destroy the Taliban, they could do it in the means of months, just like in Iraq. But they couldn't, because their army has gotten much, much weaker than it was 20 years ago. There's no reliable source of Russia brining back 1950's era tanks aside of some small portion of them which were never used before in the battle. Ukraine is also using the equipment from the older Soviet era, so this fact alone speaks nothing. The prognosis of the Russian population to decline by 110-120 million in 2050 has no adequate or rational explaining, the same people told us that the Russian population would keep declining in the late 2000s and all of the 2010 which didn't happen in reality. The US also facing the threat of declining population due to record low fertility rates, so it's stupid to brag about Russia being "rought 30-35% of the US" by 2050. Questionable? Russia has captured 30% of the Ukrainian terrotiry, and Ukraine can do nothing about this, despite the US and EU making huge investments to the country and sending them tons of the modern equipment. Their so called "counter-offensive" campaign not only happened to be a total disaster for the Ukrainan army, but *the actual opposite* happened, Russia managed to gain, though small, territories from Ukraine over the past 5 months. You think China could capitulate Russia within 12 months? If that was true, then why the Chinese lost their war to a much smaller Vietnam back in 1979 (Not that is China is the same as it was 40 years ago, but you mentioned the US war in Iraq which also happened long time ago, so...). China is afraid to invade small Taiwan, and you are telling me about them invading Russia. Both France and especially Japan (the country which doesn't even have its own army) are miles away from Russia in terms of military possibilites, so this your statement (to be clear, your whole comment) is ridiculous.
I mean whats the reason of USA spending so much on military? Are they fighting a war??
