Yep, still own my '85 CJ7 Laredo. Replaced the horribly smogged 258 that had zero power and was bad on fuel, with a Ford 5.0, serpentine belt, running a/c compressor. Built T5, 5 speed with hydraulic clutch set up for header clearance. Factory A/C and all stock gauges that work including tach. 85 and 86 have the best tubs as they are galvanized and don't rust. Have owned several in the past and every time I sell, have sellers remorse and buy another, so this time I keep forever.
This is my dream, but i have to come over USA to buy, it because Jeeps are not so perfect in France. It will cost a lot of money. But dream will come true. This is the perfect Jeep !
