When Grusin scores a movie, the movie and the music are inexorably interwoven: when you see the movie, you hear the music; when you hear the music, you see the movie.
30 years ago i was living in an appartment in Italian Alps and this album was iconic think it took months for anyone to make the last track mind u we were working hard
Fell in love with this from the movie "Falling in Love", starring Meryl Streep and Robert Deniro. And it remains a favorite to this day. Seeing this live performance just rejuvenates my soul! Andrea Bolognesi, THANK YOU FOR POSTING!
Absolutely fantastic music. Not same as the studio recording but enough elements and talent to make it just as good. where have all the great musicians gone?
A great song, and a great performance -- thanks for posting. Although, I have to say this -- much to my amazement, the always masterful Steve Gadd was outplayed on this song by the late Carlos Vega. Check out the GRP All Stars' performance of this song, and just listen to how Carlos injects some brilliant and tasteful drumming, without getting in the way of the rest of the band. Kudos to Gadd on this performance, though -- he exercises incredible restraint in service of the song and band...
Adoro questo brano!!!😍😍😍
Best jazz I've ever heared
Music that will never fades away.. From South Africa 2020
Gadd gave a whole new fresh groove on this piece..love it!!
