I dunno who did the Steampunk posters, but there is a Copyrighted image from an illustration of the brazilian edition of Neuromance made by Josan Gonzalez on your video that should not be there (because I have already talk with his author and he said to me that he did not give him any athorization what so ever), I know, and I have already tell him, that your video is only with divulgative intentions, and he told me that in that case there is not issue from his side, but I also make him notice that the 'Pack' of 'steampunk posters' that it is already in your website for sale, that includes that image as a cover, it is with a profit interest and not with a divulgative interest. I don't know what he gonna do with it, but it would be fair to at least credit him and remove that cover or that poster from the pack. @@LucianComanphotography No doubt DJI missed a bigger opportunity with the initial launch… no doubt they’ll learn from it and adjust… but Josh’s perspective on the expanded capacity is valid. That train trucking shot is gold for story. No one’s using a Mavic 3 for well-funded production. For small productions this can no doubt be leveraged effectively.
Youre constantly proving that it’s not the gear (well, just a little bit, to a certain point) but the creative and skill you use your gear with. It’s amazing what you’ve done with gear available to the enthusiast videographer/photographer.
I just came home from flying mavic 3. I love the drone; It's how you use it. Most people, who complain about the drone, are hobbyist. They complain about specs and performance. But they have no imagination or creative skills.
This is why this channel is the best content about filmmaking on YT. When I first saw the specs of Mavic 3, I thought "ok, the main camera is nice, but the zoom is really a thing" and then every review focused on the main camera saying that the zoom is bad quality and unusable. Very disappointing. You present a completely different approach and prove that the zoom indeed is the most exciting function of this drone and for me it is the biggest reason to get it.
LOVE THIS! It's so nice to see someone test what's possible with the zoom lens rather than just complain about it! I recently bought the Mavic 3 thinking about all that might be possible with the zoom lens. Can't wait to test it out when it arrives! Wish I could drop by to say hi at NAB. Maybe next year!
The drones are at the point in reliability where the camera itself should be a swappable attachment. Different cameras/lenses with one drone chassis would be perfect. Also, those Orbit shots are looking fresh!
I love this video because it reminded of an important fact: our creativity does not come from the technology we have, it comes from how we as creatives play with this technology to push our creativity. I can have all the fancy camera equipment in the world and still produce a boring movie but if I take the time to play around and test the different capabilities of less ideal equipment I may be able to get around the limitations of the technology and create something awesome. I think they are all better than people give them credit for. The Mavic 3, Air 2S, and Mini 2! are all great drones and can produce fantastic output if the user knows what they are doing. Looking forward to the Mini 3 too!

You have given me some things to think about, but I have been making good use of my the zoom capabilities on my Mavic 3. We recently had a HUGE wildfire about 6 miles from my house. There was a big no fly zone around the fire, but my house was just outside the no fly zone. By using the zoom lens, I was able to get some acceptable videos of aircraft dropping fire retardant and water on the fire over a 2 day period. Thanks for all the good ideas!
you really make the best videos and the hidden QR codes are awesome, but i've heard a lot of bad things about zoom, is it an exaggeration what other youtubers say? Many say the zoom is useless. I myself find the zoom on a drone very valuable and refreshing, since more and more drone videos exist today and the zoom makes the recording stand out. You make really good videos, thanks … when is anamorphia 3 coming out, i am hyped!
This is an amazing video, thanks for sharing. I'm going to try the zoom. I've seen similar results putting clips on TikTok where you blow it up and center it, and it pops. You've got skills, I saw those low tree branches on the sidewalk. You should send DJI an invoice.

Very cool stuff, and I didn’t even realize there was a Mavic 3 out. Minor thing though.. on an actual dolly, you’re not limited by focal length because of shake like you say.. as long as you’ve got a good dolly grip, cam op, and tripod head that doesn’t suck, you can do whatever. I’ve frequently worked with a 24-290 on the long end of the zoom and even long focal length primes like 30mm, and it ain’t a prob when it’s done right.
The M3 is such an awesome drone. Its defo not for the beginner, as to get the most from it, you need to know how to operate a camera properly. Using Auto really does not show you the potential. It is a very nice pro of work if its in the correct hands.
Got really excited at first, because I thought the NDA for the Mini 3 got lifted. 😆 The Mavic 3 has to be kept at a horizontal distance of 30m from uninvolved civilians in europe afaik, which makes it difficult to use in many locations. Still opens up a lot of creative possibilities, as the video shows.
I really love the long lens but I think not giving DJI a hard time for using just automatic controls is wrong. Folks like you have the voice to be heard by them. We need manual control on the tele-lens. Period.

I know it’s capable of doing so much more in the hands of a Content Creator or storyteller who’s not so focused on the active track features or the satellite gps locking issues. Dayum I'm *so* impressed with what can be done with that zoom. All other YT'rs had sort of pooh pooh'd the zoom functionality. I'm seriously holding out on my Air 2s decision after watching all the amazeballs stuff you did with this bad boy.
@@camilo8cheryl so the Air 2S fly more controller allows you to zoom? I'm not sure I get that. I just checked out BH site and I don't see anything different from amZ for instance. I'm not super keen about the fixed aperture of the Air 2S.

@@Clickumentary i went with the mavic air 2s rc pro combo for the $$$ savings..its like getting the rc pro remote for $500 only! Your not saving if you only get the Rc pro only..
Totally true! I think when I did those shots I wasn't planning on speed ramping, so I did not do that---- but yes this is solid advice! Wish I had mentioned it in the video as well.
@@MAKEARTNOWCHANNEL much love. i ve learned this by mistake when i was recording some S&q and i put by accident 1/2s shutter for a 1fps timeframe.. and the result was way better than expected. If my calculus is correct, if u shoot 30fps and you wanna speed ramp 200% this translates to 15fps which i would go for 1/30 shutter. So it is a matter of taste if you want to go full 180, but definitely slower shutter helps sell the speed. Maybe Gerald can elaborate on this haahahahhaa Anyway, goes without mention u did an amazing vid again! looking fw for your next headquarter setup :)
I’m loving my mavic 3 …I don’t know the other people are gripping about….I’m digging the zoom camera myself,I’m sure DJI will continue to update the firmware…I wouldn’t be surprised if the mavic 3’s footage doesn’t start ending up in more and more budget film projects…the world is changing and the tools are getting better and easier everyday…great video

Davinci resolve has motion blur effect that blurs more or less based on the speed of which the object is moving. It does it automatically.
Because Resolve is best 😌😌
fr Premiere is dieing. The only reason people are still using it is because they don't wanna make the time to make the swap :D

The manufactures could not have demonstrated the MAVIC 3 better! Allie may have "missed his calling." This entire video was most informative and fun.

If you get the air 2s with rc pro combo at B&H photo the zoom dial on the rc remote is awesome at a lower price point..
