“Everyone in the neighborhood knew that we had lost a son. A gentleman called me and he said, ‘Hey, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Reggie. I heard about your son and I'm really sorry to hear about that. I know how you feel.’
Before he could even finish his sentence, I chewed him a new one. I said, ‘How dare you say you know what it's like! How dare you say anything about knowing how I feel!’
Come to find out, he had lost a son, too.”
