My wife and I moved to Savannah last year, but it wasn’t until our first Bananas game that the city felt like home to us. We were lucky enough to see game 3 of the CPL championship. What energy. What an atmosphere. We’ve already got our tickets for June. Go bananas!
My wife and I bring our girls to Savannah once or twice a year. We absolutely love it.

A baseball fan and wish I was close enough to be season ticket holders. Most entertaining and great ball. Proves that you built it and they will come.
I'm not into baseball but I wanna go to one of these games. You popped up on my tiktok and it looks like the most entertaining game of baseball with all the dancing and shenanigans. I'm glad yall took the risk.
The minor league team in my town announced the name and no one applauded. People walked out of the event. The media ripped it apart. Now? Everyone loves it. The name? The Montgomery Biscuits. The batters box is called the oven!
Same thing happened with us, we were laughed at for calling our selves the Banana’s!
Same thing happened here in Amarillo. The Sod Poodles. Everyone lost their minds. 3 years in, the seats are full and the team is well loved and supported. Great story Savanah Bananas!
It's good to watch fun baseball again. Most baseball is too serious.

Baseball really was interesting around the time of the depression. These guys made it into an absolute spectacle, and it was much needed.

It's really cool to see a minor league team finally really embrace the quirkiness of their name. There are and have been many teams in minor league sports with great names like the Macon Bacon, Florida Everblades, Iowa Barnstormers, New Orleans Voodoo, Las Vegas 51's, Omaha Beef just to name a few but none have really gone over the top until the Bananas. Minor league sport teams should really take notice.

I am a life long residence of Savannah. I was a BIG opponent of the name. I am happy to say I am wrong! The Savannah Bananas has bought attention to Savannah like when the Book Goo In The Garden Of Evil came out. Congratulations Bananas.

My son played his last baseball game as a senior in this stadium in March of 2020. We are part of a small private school and the team we were playing didn't have a field so that is why we were there. The very next practice they had to turn in their jerseys because of COVID and lost out on the rest of the season. I remember them talking about the Savannah Bannanas and how they wanted to come back one day and watch a game.

I think I have commented once on a RUclips video. Never heard of this team before a friend put it on Facebook. On vacation this year traveling from Florida north, you can bet we will make a stop in Savannah to see this team. This is what baseball has been lacking, FUN!!

I'm from Oregon transplanted in cali at age of 16 I'm about the Salem angels, the Portland winter Hawks and love the Oakland A's BUT NOW HOLY DAMN SAVANNAH BANANA'S IM HOOKED ON THIS TEAM FULL FLEDGED FAN!!! GOTTA COME OUT THERE NEXT SEASON AND WATCH!!!!

They came to Vegas to play am not a big fan of baseball anymore but I had blast watching this team play hope they come back again to Vegas I be the first one in line the way they bring the fan into the game this made baseball fun again for me please return to Vegas next year

I should have waited to comment after the video. I love Minor League Baseball. The team closest to us is the Quakes. Since we’re very close to the San Andreas Fault, the Quakes play at the Epicenter and their mascots are Tremor and Aftershock. And some silly games are played as well.

I'd so love this team to come to Colorado Springs and play the Vibes. Colorado Springs had a really good and fun team at one time (Sky Sox) and since they relocated to San Antonio (the Missions), it just isn't the same. One of the credit unions would sponsor a "Used Car Giveaway" and a used car was given away every inning; There were fireworks several games, 50 cent hotdogs several nights. Sadly, none of these events happen anymore. If you all came to Colorado Springs, I would so wear my Carmen Miranda hat and root for the visiting team. I want to come to Savannah just to see a game.
