    Would like your review to continue with water in the Iron. Does it steam well? If you leave water in it does it leak? Thanks

      Hi! I’ve used it several times with water and it does not leak and it only steams when I push the button. I feel like there is a good amount of steam. I do feel like larger irons I have used have more steam. For a mini iron I feel like this iron does a good job.

      I had one, and it leaked over time (6 months). It actually burned me when hot water bubbled/spurted out of the sole plate while I was repositioning fabric next to it. I cost so much money and was a dangerous disappointment. Be careful!

      @@KnitWitch I’m so sorry to hear that. I have heard they have made some improvements with this new model of the mini iron. Other than this Oliso iron, I haven’t used this brand of iron.

    I really want to get this iron. Is the steam on all the time, or only when you push for it. That's a big problem with my iron. If I put it on high, it automatically steams. No choice to turn steam off on high.

    I LOVE my Oliso!! I have the full size and the mini!! Mine doesn’t have the light which, in my opinion would be a useless thing anyway.

      So good to know. I keep thinking about getting the full size iron.

      @@dressesspurs I don’t regret buying either. My large one is for using at my ironing board and my small one is beside my machine for use with my wool mat.

      @@AuntDi2 oohhh I like the idea of the mini iron and wool mat combo. I might have to give that a try. Thank you for the tip!

    Are you supposed to rest the iron on the pad while it’s hot? I saw another video that says otherwise

    • @dressesspurs
      @dressesspurs  6 месяцев назад

      I’m not sure. I only rest it on the pad thing when I’m coming back to the iron quick, otherwise I leave it resting on the iron base. Thanks for watching!

      @dressesspurs  6 месяцев назад +1

      I’m really not sure. But I will say I have used it with no water and it seemed to work fine.
