I just recently started listening to your podcasts and RUclips channel looking for bear hunting tips for spring bear. I've already learned so much from your channel. I'm up here in North Pole Alaska and am planning to hunt black bear and grizzly. Can't wait to get out in the field and live and learn. Thank you much. Best hunting channel I've ever watched, DIY. If you ever make it to the Fairbanks area I'd love to meet you guys. Happy hunting this spring. I'd love to be there with you guys. You all make it look so fun.

I think you’re correct about people being more fit than rifle capable. I can’t believe how many guys I know that don’t know how to dial their scope. Or care about what grain of bullet they’re shooting. Thanks for the tips!

Best advice is the one no one takes. Get as many days in the field as possible. I hunt everything legal every way legal. I work a normal job and i make it happen. Got a very supportive wife and that really helps. Any who thanx guys.

I’m blessed to have a job where I can take 20 days in a row for elk hunting.
Hasn’t paid off yet but I’m confident it will. Last two years have been rough for elk in the districts I’ve been hunting

I think a huge way to increase odds for a lot of guys, as amazing as solo hunting is if you really want any to increase your odds and do not have a lot of money or time to invest,, if you can find like minded friends/hunters who are as dedicated as yourself you can split costs a lot and can get more gear between the group that maybe an individual guy can not get himself. The time you have out there you cover more ground and more eyes. You have a couple of guys picking up new tricks each year and sharing them or locations, a last minute mistake you may make on a hunt is less likely to happen with partners than just one guy on his own. It’s just one of the harder things to do in hunting in my opinion, beginning finding and building your group of like minded trust worthy and equally dedicated hunters but when you do all your guys success for sure increases
