Two single crotchet in the next two stitches would be 2 total stitches. Do one single crotchet in the next stitch, and the one after also. And two single crotchet in the next STITCH would be two single crotchet in a single stitch, meaning an increase. Just listen closely, 2 single crotchet in the next STITCH(increase) vs 2 single crotchet in the next STITCHES(2 regular single crotchet). For beginner projects, you probably wouldn’t hear 5 single crotchet(or any number other than 2) in the next STITCH, but stitchES. Hopefully that helped a little!
Thank you for making the pattern so easy to understand and follow along.

Did you fill your tail with fiber fill?
Honestly, I don’t remember, but if I did, it wasn’t too much.
@annadcrochet Okay, thank you!
Wonderful tutorial. The monkey is so lovely. Just one question, is it correct not to put filling in the tail?
Thank you :) I did not put, but if you want your tail to be more rigid, then you can put some filling.
What size eyes did you use?:)
10 mmm
how did you sew your eyes?
