  • A Short Blender speaker tutorial that shows how to model a speaker and animate it with music. This tutorial covers modeling of the speaker, creating shape keys for speaker, texture materials, as well as animation using a music file.
    The intro 3d animation was created using Blender 3.1 while tutorial was made using Blender 3.2.
    Render settings for the Blender animation at the beginning of the tutorial.
    cycles 230 samples.

      @@chino9212 Make use of the envelope modifier to control your maximum and minimum shape in the curve editor. You can also edit your shape keys and make the speaker movement less. Speaker deformation is based on the shape keys. So if its goes too crazy you can reduce the distance it moves. Hope this helps.

    • @atique2545

      Solved it. I used a sine curve modifier from the built in functions options.

    • @Jart_3d
      @Jart_3d  Год назад

      @@atique2545 Cool method. Great to know you solved it. You can also click on key and un-bake curves. That way the curve points become keyframes which you can manipulate, edit, or duplicate in the dope sheet. You can move the sound movement to any part of the animation this way. I probably should have added that bit in my tutorial.

      Hi. It's possible to import stl files into Blender but it's not that straightforward. I believe you can edit the dimensions in Blender as well. You'll probably have to watch tutorials on those topics to be able to do so. Hope my answer is satisfactory.

    Does the topology matter in order to make the bake exact?

    • @Jart_3d
      @Jart_3d  6 месяцев назад

      The bake records the animated position of vertices as they move between the original shape and the new shape key. Shape keys are used on models with tris and they still work well. You can experiment to find out.

    0.31 how do you subdivide like this? i can't do it please help me

    • @Jart_3d
      @Jart_3d  Год назад

      Hi. What I did was subdivide. You can do so by adding a loop cut on any edge of the speaker with a ctr+R. Once the loop cut is made you can increase the number of cuts using the mouse's middle scroll button after which you click to create the loops.
      If you have one cut, you can select it by clicking on an edge with the alt key pressed, increasing the cuts by using the ctr+B key, and scrolling the mouse to increase the number of cuts.
      I hope this helps.

      @@Jart_3d A THOUSAND THANKS
      but I wanted to ask you do you have the piece that comes flat up to minute 1.16 but as I follow your steps it gets more stepped and then I don't understand how precisely at minute 1.16 you manage to detach the lines that we say if you have an ig profile I'll send you the photos for Pleasure
      creating shape keys for speaker how did you create this?

    • @Jart_3d
      @Jart_3d  Год назад +1

      @@gerrianroid4626 Hi. you can slow down video playback for sections that are fast. What I did iat 1.16 is separate the selected vertices to selection by using the p key. It separates those vertices into a new object. When you come out of edit mode you can edit the new object if you select it.
      Shape keys are easy to make. That part of the video is in realtime so you can follow along. You can add a base shape key from the side menu. This is the base representing the original shape and should not be edited. you can then add a new shape key that you want the movement of the speaker to be on. With this shape key selected you can edit the cone and move it upward. The moment you tab out of edit mode the original shape of the object returns and you can see your shape key take effect by sliding the shape key value.
      You can add as many keys as you'd like using this method. Its helpful for creating shape keys for characters like eye blinks and other things.
      I'm sorry this video is not exactly beginner friendly, If you have basic modeling skills it should be simple to follow and apply to creating whatever you want.

    • @Jart_3d
      @Jart_3d  Месяц назад

      Hey sorry about the pacing of the video. I inserted the faces with i key, then i added loop cuts using ctr+r and scrolling mouse wheel to change the number. Last step was to pull up the faces. If you want to bevel an edge you can do so by selecting the edge and using ctr+b and scroll middle mouse button to increase bevels. Blender is heavy on shortcuts so most users assume everyone knows this controls.
