I’m sorry but that’s not authentic you didn’t put Okra in it gumbo is an African word that means okra so no okra no gumbo. That is a stew and you didn’t put Cajun seasoning in it and you cheated on the roux . But as long as you enjoy it I guess that’s all that matters Happy Holidays.

I put Cajun seasoning in it and we don’t eat okra. Yes I did cheat on the roux, this was my first time trying that jar roux but it came out delicious.
