Honestly there has not been anything in Masterchef Canada that’s been as heartwarming as the journey and relationship of Eric & Alvin. Just from the jump, how much they had in common, and you could see Alvin look at Eric like he was seeing his younger self. It’s something out of a movie that they end up being major partners after the show.
when comes to finale of every masterchef, it's not just about food being good anymore, it's also about the overall menu concept. What's even more worse is even the tiniest of details become deciding factor
I don't see the problem. They're giving away a huge chunk of money as part of the prize so damn right they expect people to bring their A-game. It's called MasterChef for a reason.
I actually do love Alvin & Eric's relationship. Everyone in the comments have said that Alvin saw in Eric a younger version of himself & I could not agree more with them. He is the stereotypical Asian parent, scolding their child when they messed up & he wanted to mold Eric & properly prepare him for the culinary industry. My favorite moment of theirs is the Childhood Memory Mystery Box where Eric makes a dish that his grandfather taught him & both Alvin & Eric have a dialogue in what I think is Mandarin (for anyone who is Chinese correct me if I'm wrong). I loved that moment so much. His interactions with Veronica were wonderful as well. Christopher came back stronger in Season 7 & I'm actually glad that he didn't win Season 2 bc then we wouldn't be able to see how far he's come since Season 2.
This is the best MasterChef in all the other countries, uk y? Cause if they like the dish the judges tell that making the contestants happy, and if they don't, they just tell that to, making them miserable, I mean no confusions. And, wow each contestant supports every other, how humane is that huh ? 😊
Man i swear everyone on these masterchef shows has the fruitiest zestiest voice and valley girl voices 😂😂😂..like oh my God i made like like the best butter cream frosting, im chunkzilla hear me roar. 😂😂
Watching them how they talk each other They should all go to Hollywood And go on their knees Just don’t know what they will start kissing first Judge not better either
If people want to loose weight, they have to watch Alvin Leung eats. It is absolutely disgusting the way he eats, I am surprised that he still one of the judges.
Alvin Leung is the final boss in a cooking anime, and Eric was the protagonist who won him over and became his student.
Somebody needs to actually do an anime with this xD
@@RoninEternal watch food wars lol
@@blaze_nexus3407Lmao the foodgasms are just not it xD
@@kgt8742I just imagined making Michael Bonacini foodgasm 💀
@@kgt8742nah srsly I forgot abt them and was tryna show my girl the show then boom 😂
Eric Chong’s teacher, absolute legend
The joke here is that he is self taught 😎
@@lilweetabix9137 idk abt that, well Alvin taught Eric to be humble and not to argue. And guess what, Eric won.
@@lilweetabix9137Well Alvin was self taught
@@BinhVo-kx5pwhe meant that Alvin is self-taught
Eric only won because Alvin wanted an Asian to be the first winner.

@@jennifergreen6510 actually im not pointing out issue but say the thing about what's gonna happen in every masterchef finale
@@johnlau6749And I pointed out that your comment is ridiculous.
@@jennifergreen6510 shut up
Into the Ravine by Christopher was as high concept as any of Jennifer's dishes
If not more than most sure Jennifer will always be the most creative contestant but Chris came insanely close
@@gdriskyplane3389Chris is far better
It reminds me of the desserts from Masterchef Australia
I really love how Alvin always says his a Demon Chef 😅
he uses it ironically as daimon can also mean good spirit, which he definitely is most of the time.
I've been watching MasterChef canada and only MasterChef canada since covid
So
@@frednichols9851 so she has low cooking standard basically xD
@@richbrown9690 or that she doesn't like pretentious dramas in other MasterChefs because tbh, only idiots get entertained by that.
Best Masterchef judge, hands down
Honestly this show makes it hard to pick a favourite, all 3 are great
@@brew2779they balance each other out, I’d say!
I really do love how classy Chef Michael is. Not just his fancy suits, but his overall mannerisms.
Should’ve added eric chongs spinach pork noodle dish alvin loved that
legit all the top 3 dishes from that challenge
honestly he even thanked him in their native language
Imagine having Alvin, Gordon, & Marco in one sitting at a MasterChef World
When the wonderful ebisu dai was finished she said “dear diary” like it was a movie the editing and her voice made that sound so good

@sabinatheanomaly just found this video and you are close but its a small spoken dialect in china called Cantonese
It’s wild a Master Chef hasn’t filleted a fish.

Pls bring new season
His personality is a lot like Gordon. He’s passionate and wants to see people succeed.
Alvin Leung: "Asian doesn't like to waste food."
*Some other videos. Alvin threw French fries*
Christopher from Mc Canada and Christopher should collaborate
Huh?
I get the part of mc Canada Christopher but who is the other Christopher here?
Why is Christopher's cake not here? That's Chef Alvin's favorite as well.
23:02 hear me out
no
you beat me to it lol
You either love him or you hate him
Christopher was a monster in season 7
Alvin Leung is the Dr Crawler (yu gi oh gx character) of the masterchef universe.
"my mother has Alzheimers"
Oh i must have it too, because i dont remember asking

Having no Becky and Mary here is kinda illegal😭
But still good tho
I can’t stand how the judges taste the food.

14:32 As a Korean I’m always disappointed with the “Korean” dishes on this show. I would love to see some real Korean food.
Frontline worker😂
I could not have eaten the fish eyeball. I just couldn't...
Its an acquired taste. Asians love it. I steal every eyeball i can in any fish stew, fried or soup
It's basically just fish fat
I thought he was just messing with her at first but watching it again, he does seem sincere.
It's like a savory jello. Not that different from gelatin ... except even softer.
It’s not bad actually. Kinda like savoury jelly. Eat it with white rice if you’re still not confident about it.
A sledgehammer is not more painful than a sword 😭😭😭😭
Thea's Voice
Seamen chef
Why does eric frown so much
favorite dishes of a $5 chef 😂
Yum
I've seen Michael and Claudio cook before. I haven't seen Alvin do anything except act like a Canadian version of Joe Bastianich....
Oh trust me he's good
I have seen him cook its amazing
He does more than Joe don't lower him that low
poor people making idiots of them by getting runned like cattle by 3 other people
Watching them how they talk each other
They should all go to Hollywood
And go on their knees
Just don’t know what they will start kissing first
Judge not better either
He was wishing for some kittens 😅😅😅

Miranda cried just as much as Thea did.
Second guy dont even know how to pronounce pandan

Eric calling the other contestant she. Rude.

Are you high?
Excuse me how is it rude?
He should call them they/them hahaha😂
