  • Get "Love After Heartbreak" here 👉 bit.ly/LoveAfterHeartbreakYTS... - The REAL TRUTH about "Guard Your Heart" - Proverbs 4 23. What does guarding your heart really mean? I'll break down how to guard your heart in a relationship and life in general.
Be sure you're guarding your heart correctly, and take these steps to finally experience healing from your past with your copy of "Love After Heartbreak" here: www.loveafterheartbreak.com
Proverbs 4 23 - "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."
Have you ever asked yourself "What does it mean to guard my heart?" or "What is Proverbs 4 23 telling us when it says guard your heart or protect your heart ?" Be sure to listen, like, and subscribe! Oh and leave a comment below to share your thoughts.
Trying to figure out how to guard your heart in a relationship should not be your focus. For a relationship to thrive you have to be open and vulnerable. I know that may sound scary, but that's why healing is needed. You have to be truly open to love, and trust God to protect your heart.
I hope this video helps with this topic of guarding your heart, and provides a better understanding of Proverbs 4 23. I want you all to be open to receiving the man or woman God has for you. It is ok to guard your heart and to be cautious of what you let in your life. But don't "guard your heart" in a way that you shut down your heart and opportunities to meet the right one.
"The same walls you put up to protect you are the same ones blocking your blessing."

Da nia, I agree to a degree .we definitely need to get as much healing as possible before getting in a relationship. However, we will always have room for improvement. I believe there's layers of healing. It's not like we're 100% healed. None of us are perfect . Some stuff we won't realize until we're actually in a relationship to work through it beloved.

In Scripture, the word heart represents the center of our emotions, thinking, and reasoning. It is the command center of our life. So when we read, ”Guard your heart” (Proverbs 4;23), it makes a lot of sense. We need God’s help not to neglect His Word, but to use it to align our hearts with His heart every day.

I agree 100% with what you said. I used to believe it meant protecting your heart with walls. But as I have been studying scripture and praying on it and reading Faith Based books. What you said makes more sense. I used to be an awkwardly social person and I truly believe that I have to learned to put my fear and anxiety aside so I do not give the devil control over my blessings. This is something I have been working on this year. I am putting myself out there in my church and getting involved, which are things I've never done because of how I would allow myself to be consumed in fear of rejection. But now I am living in God's light and I will no longer be a prisoner to my fear and anxiety. Thank you so much for always spreading such uplifting messages. GOD BLESS ❤️

It’s a VERY delicate line when recovering from a narcissistic abusive relationship. Most, if not all, RUclips posts will tell you to run, be afraid, be very afraid of relationships and when approaching relationships! They stress be on high alert at all times!! Makes it truly difficult for the one who wants to experience real, true meaningful love 🤦‍♀️

"The same walls you put up to protect you are the same walls blocking your blessing" I resonate with those words (reminded me of Brene Brown about vulnerability) because the pain of heartbreak can be so big that you just want to shut down all gates not to experience it ever again. But in the same time...you hardly can let anything good in. I am learning to open the gates again, I know it is silly to keep them shut. Thank you for your simple truth I needed to be remineded of. That has gotten me through so far just keeping ppl at arms length, don't expect anything from anybody so I'm not reminded of what that pain feels like. It's been this way for so long I don't even know if I even know the first steps of changing that which has been a part of me for a long time. I've been single for as long as I can remember by choice. People show you sides of them that make you wonder if your perception on life or the mechanism used to interact with others are functioning normally🤔😅 But I hear what you are saying. I have to dig deep down before I even start to accept the thought of that. Love hearing you, recently bounced up on your channel,it's been refreshing and unbiased I must say. Allowing yourself be vulnerable and genuinely caring (loving) deeply. Possibility of deep connection and love. A wounded heart is susceptible to hurt someone else." Healing is needed. Wow, I love your videos Stephan. I just started to begin dating again and I realize I am still guarded and some guys have been picking up on it. I was just talking about this yesterday, and I did pray today and this video popped up tonight. Not sure if coincidence, but thank you. 🙏😌

Yes you're right about that I cannot agree with you more 100% on that sentence but at the same time you know what we know the way to stop that from happening and stop making judgments and moving too fast with the relationship you got to see how things go first and to see if there is any connection between the two

I definitely touch and agree, and that’s why it’s always wise to ask the Lord for clarity regarding Scripture.
