- Duyos reinventa la pasarela con el Ballet Nacional de España
Ovación. Nadie se quedó sentado y todos se emocionaron como pocas veces ocurre en Ifema. El diseñador Juan Duyos subió al Ballet Nacional de Danza al completo para presentar su colección primera verano 2015, en la 60º edición de Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.
El regalo que le han hecho al diseñador madrileño, tal y como él lo ha definido en el backstage, nace de un viaje a las Islas Canarias. Juan, cautivado por la belleza del paisaje y su clima, le propuso a Antonio Najarro, director del Ballet Nacional, una colaboración entre moda y baile, con las 7 islas canarias como inspiración.
El resultado fue un espectáculo con mayúsculas que puso a todo los asistentes en pie. Las 17 bailarinas que interpretaron canciones de Björk sobre la pasarela lucieron diseños en muselinas de seda, ante y plumas en tonos ocre, azul marina, antracita, rojo, verde, amarillo y arena. Cada color como homenaje a una isla.
Todos las prendas se han adaptado al movimiento del baile, pero respetando siempre el gusto de las clientas de Duyos.
Damn.. this was absolutely stunning! The drama and utter gracefulness of the dancers along with the gorgeous garments made it all seem at times as though I were watching some fabulous Greek tragedy come to life. These dancers are goddesses indeed and the attire is likewise fit for a modern goddess! Bravo to all involved!
So great that I can’t take my eyes off each dancer and how the clothes flow like the wind. Truly beautiful!

Stunning performance but the videographer got too fancy. Focused on the faces instead of zoomong out so we could see the clothes' movement.
It's very cool way to do a fashion show. great choreography and music. except for a couple of things - the costumes just look so 60s, and the male( choreographer? designer? Sorry i dont know Spanish) when he raises his arm as he turns has a hole in his shirt. Ooops! Wardrobe malfunction.
Music is irritating,but sound effects good...shame - the girls and coreography are magnificent

Bjork nunca iría así vestida....la música y la coreografía, y el vestuario....no están haciendo vanguardia.
Beautiful movement, colors, dancers, choreography. Annoying music. I preferred the quality of the menswear show that the men of the same dance company did (OTEYZE). It was completely unnecessary to have a male dancer join at the end. Yes, he's a fantastic dancer, but this was women's clothing shown by women, and having a man at the end made it seem as though the women needed a man to make the show complete. That really annoys me. And even though I am a singer I found the music distracting because the words demanded too much attention. Wonderful dancers, all the same, and they really know how to show those gorgeous clothes and the lovely, flowing fabric.
La idea está muy bien, pero usar al ballet nacional y no sacarle jugo a la belleza de nuestra música y a ese cuerpo de ballet es un pecado. En lugar de promocionarnos pagamos a músicos extranjeros, por cierto, un poco deprimente la musiquita. Siempre hacemos lo mismo. Me encanta este tipo de desfile de moda combinado con ballet. No me gustó la música que escogieron y es una lástima que en este vídeo no se perciben los sonidos de las tacones y las castañuelas, esos son el atractivo después de la mitad del desfile.
