The wing keeps the TSR-S more planted on the ground, giving more traction to the inner wheels during hard cornering. Basically does the same thing as the wing on the Huracan Performante and Aventador SVJ, except as visible moving piece rather than air ducts in a fixed wing.
Who cares. I thought it was so cringey how he was pretending it was uncontrollable in RWD. It was nothing like the supra with 1500hp, it's easily controllable. Especially with how the rear wing helps you correct if you oversteer
When the wing tilts it catches more air on one side meaning more grip on that side and the centre of mass stays closer to the middle the wing really does work
I'm not happy because my parents took away my Xbox one month ago and I've missed out on 6 cars! And I'm going to miss this car out as well which is a shame considering how special it is with its functional wing.
The wing doesn’t give more downforce, it gives you directional downforce. It helps the car turn more tightly while still staying planted. The issues is that Lamborghini’s ALA has the exact same effect and is a lot lighter
@11:13 same, i was too distracted with its wing, it's always tilting @11:52 and that's how Nick was sent into another world, a world of Forza @12:15 that's a major oooof right there!
I wasn't wayching and was confused cause the only thing i know of that could be called "engine spacers" are basically thick metal head gaskets to decrease compression for boost. Obviously forza doesn't have those.
The TSR-S wing is designed to push the inner wheels back down to the ground. That's why it raises the inner side when cornering, its so the deflection pushes into the corner rather than just downwards like pleb wings do. The TSR-S wing acts kinda like those aero flaps on the Pagani Huayra where the inner rear flap raises a bit in a corner.
To inform Nick about the spoiler; when a car goes into a corner, the g-forces go to the outside wheels. The TSR-1 spoiler is designed to put the g-forces on all four wheels as opposed to just two of them.
Hey Nick it’s me again! Last vid I gave you a challenge. And I am going to repeat that. The challenge is a hundred horsepower build. You can do a rally car, race car, drift car, .... Have fun doing the challenge!
i'm pretty sure that the rear wing isn't supposed to make more downforce, but is supposed to redirect the forces. so basically instead of pointing strait down, the downforce points into the corner helping to stabilize the rear end. Engineering Explained has an explanation video if you;re interested.
It’s the lateral “down force” while cornering to reduce understeer and throttle can be opened sooner/more on exit. The active Wong doesn’t give more downward force than any other
The spoiler actually helps to keep the car stable in the corners, the car (just like any others) leans slightly when turning. The spoiler helps to stop this leaning therefore leaving a cleaner exit from the corner
The wing isn’t built for insane amounts of downforce, but rather limiting drag on the straight and still adding some downforce in the corners. It’s basically (and I use this term very loosely) a drs system
That big wang moves when you turn so that you can get better grip with the inside tires. If you were to turn right the right side of the wing would go higher up to catch more air to provide more downforce and same thing when you're turning left. Donut media has a whole video on this you should check it out
The purpose of the wing is to counter the body roll (as little as racecars have, they do lean a touch) so that it transitions better from one turn to another.
Forget the supercars, they've made this game perfect with the Toyota update, and now the MK2 Escort with rally pack arches! and from the feel of it in Rivals it'll be fun on cross country events.
There's a stress limiter module equipped to the wing so when you lose control it locks in neutral position and doesn't move. Same thing goes for drifting and intentional 360's to stop the wing from simply breaking.
The wing doesn't add more downforce but it gives more grip to the inside wheel by lifting the wing out of the turbulence of the car allowing you to turn at a faster Speed meaning a quicker speed. My guess.
NASCAR teams used to hang their bodies crooked, going down the straight it would look like it's slightly drifting but in the corners it produced so much more sideforce.
The rear wing, Like on a bugatti Veyron, tilts to act as an air-brake (kind of like a plane) when slowing down, making it slow down quicker. When the wing is upright it pushes the car down so it grips the road, and when it tilts,it pushes the car into the corner to reduce how much it skids so you can go round corners faster. So I think it does work, but this is all my guess.
I feel like if anything the wing would actually generate less downforce, as in there is going to be less force going directly down as it will be at an angle to the ground, but now theres a component of the force pushing you into the corner which in theory would stop the back end kicking out, in theory meaning you can corner faster
The wing wasn't made to give you more downforce it was made to make the car more stable by reducing the body roll, and the weight that goes to the outside part during cornering goes to its normal position (50%left/50%right) It actually makes the car faster :D
I’m honestly surprised that the crew 2 didn’t get this first P.s. if you don’t want to get distracted while driving it. Use first person. It works for me
I think that the wing does work, at least for racing wheels, as when I'm turning with it, I can feel the car turning, and it feels completely different than any other car
the reason the wing goes side to side is to stabilize the car... EX: it took a right-hand corner, the left side of the car would go up and the right side will be weighed down so the wing would give it better weight distribution

The wing on it ant useless its to make traction on the inside wheels i think
The wing does actually help. When a car is turning the inside wheels loose grip. The wing turns to provide more grip to the inside wheels.
Imagine you accidentally forget the wheel spacers are called wheel spacers and just remember them as engine spacers

Hey nick, when customizing you cars, how do you get the different views on the car parts? They look different from mine.

I’m hyped for the rx7 and the escort that are coming, they are gonna be sooo cool
The wing just helps maintain down force across the car in turns as best as possible

nick: "who put that there"

The wing doesn't add more downforce but it gives more grip to the inside wheel by lifting the wing out of the turbulence of the car allowing you to turn at a faster Speed meaning a quicker speed.
My guess.
Nick the point of the wing is to give more downforce to the inside wheels when turning
i feel like a certain youtuber had an influence on the 2 colors he chose
I watched about 4 videos about zenvo and I'm still watching this one
Nick: Oh yeah this is faster than I excepted
Zenvo:let's dance
I’ve been waiting for this
The wing doesn’t give you downforce. It gives you sideforce.
NASCAR teams used to hang their bodies crooked, going down the straight it would look like it's slightly drifting but in the corners it produced so much more sideforce.

So I think it does work, but this is all my guess.
Hey Nick you can do a front flip in the zenvo tried it earlier. Edit: forgot to watch the hole videos
I saw this car at an event on a racing circuit and that wing look awesome in real life and the car sounds amazing
Nick is back with the engine spacers
Keep up the good work nick and make sure you don’t hit a crowd in the near future
I can handle the bugatti wings but the side to side looks funky
I feel like if anything the wing would actually generate less downforce, as in there is going to be less force going directly down as it will be at an angle to the ground, but now theres a component of the force pushing you into the corner which in theory would stop the back end kicking out, in theory meaning you can corner faster
I’m glad that they won’t let you add a forza aero wing
The wing wasn't made to give you more downforce it was made to make the car more stable by reducing the body roll, and the weight that goes to the outside part during cornering goes to its normal position (50%left/50%right)
It actually makes the car faster :D

the reason the wing goes side to side is to stabilize the car... EX: it took a right-hand corner, the left side of the car would go up and the right side will be weighed down so the wing would give it better weight distribution

the way the zenvo's wing works is the same as the Pagani Huyra's flaps on the nose and tail work

Nick the rear wing was meant to even the weight on the tires as you travel through the corner.
