weigh of bag is huge factor in mountains. Unfortunately many hikers, even skilled, still have too heavy. I am carefully choosing gear for each trip and adjust as need. This time bag and gear in was just 5.5kg + water and food
there are accidents in Taiwan, it is bad and sad. Unfortunately many of them are because some lack of experience, some accident even happen because person get lost (even in this age each smartphone can have offline map). But in fact, mountains are difficult, but all together gives you some peace

actually there is black pond in the middle of 巴巴中央尖 and has plenty of water. also there is some water between south and main peak of nanhu 南湖池. in Nanhu cabin new source is small but great, 100m elevation to reach it
it is just GoPro9. I bought it recently also for photos for mountains. GoPro was never good for photos, but this time they improved. I don`t want use phone for photos (no waterproof, no best, safe power for important) However the editing and filming is important, most user just do not edit video on the end.

It may absorb more new guys to easily realize the trip and enjoy the video : In the beginning, introduce the trip with road map, days, weather or difficulty people may have. In everyday's beginning or ending with some comment if any specific event. Anyhow, I just start to watch your channel several days ago and hope it could become better here!
thank you. you are right about it that there could be more information. however, how you see the video that happen. There is not any re-do footage, all is filming during fast moving. In many cases I am not willing slow down because video. We could add some talking to it after, but also is true that not many people may care this (we expect audience out of Taiwan too). This video has simple map (it is way too fast, I learn how to do it better) so actually can see the route. For instance this video is very informative if you are going to do that ridge. I found only one similar. but definitely learning more, thanks for suggestion Petr
Do you have a video where they show the things you carry in your backpack on your back, I would like to know what essential things were needed to make those walks in the mountains and sleep there. 🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
this is very subjective and everyone has different needs. Also I am still testing some type of gear, but definitely in future will do more about this topic
good question. In this trip is just team of two, one with camera in hand. And we don`t adjust shooting, all is done in real time without stopping for adjustment
well, last year I often wear Nike Wildhorse. But now also have cheap trail shoes from Decathlon KIPRUN TRAIL TR. These are good for hiing, not so best for running. my partner had some Merrell but for some mountains takes Salomon
@@BeastRunners Thanks for reply. That really helps! Recently I am looking for more lightweight shoes for hiking than traditional hiking boots, and since you two are beasts hiking with those shoes, I’ll definitely take those into account. Hopefully the cheap ones suit me haha. Cheers!
@@rjk8990 well it is always good to have more pairs if you are runner. For hiking I can also recomend trail running shoes as above, but in opposite need lighter pack since they do not provide support as classic boots. for hiking many days is very imporant socks. Some wool more thinck sock works perfectly for me (recently testing some from Footland)
@@BeastRunners I am just a hiker and have tried hiking boots, rain boots and flip-flops in different trails. And I especially like the flip-flops, the lightweight and ground feel of flip-flops is beyond compare when walking on the trail. So I am looking for trail running shoes for more toe protection and learn to lighten my pack as well. It's really impressive you can carry less than 10kg in this trip. That would be awesome if you could do a video or article about your bag and gear. wool socks are great, I have ones from smartwool :)

@@齊昂妮 I did climb climb the standard route twice already. So Baba ridge was next to explore and also it may be part of 中央山脈大縱走

2010年第一次縱走，就是自組隊北一段 逆走，走了6天，加上都是自組隊，背包應是25公斤以上，就爬到不要不要的，看到這2位神人級的，輕鬆愉快，而且還是上巴巴山還是特殊路線，真是厲害👍。

今年缺水嚴重....影片中...看到南湖溪...水位低到XD..而中央尖溪...不用涉水...乾鞋...安全性方便性雖好.....實在是不妙Y , 但也感謝大大讓人激起再上中央尖魂 ~ 水啦 ~

這段不是一般山友說的死亡稜線（中央尖到西峰），只是有一段稜線看來也很可怕，掉下去就.... 😝所以我跟他說是死亡稜線，他才寫這樣的 😆
這段90%都沒人走過，所以我覺得很可怕

這段是巴巴山和中央尖之間的一條路線！
但這條路線屬於探勘路線，不是傳統路線
正常傳統路線要由上南湖南峰前一條叉路下切中央尖溪山屋再上中央尖！
走過這條路線的人寥寥可數⋯
其中包括已故登山家比基尼登山家G哥（吳季芸）
感動😹
太強了。
週末也要去走中央尖，不知今年乾旱情況下，是否可以不用涉水過溪呢？(猶豫要不要帶溯溪鞋中)
there is water in stream but we cross in dry.
Also last summer I was able cross with dry shoes.
巴巴山稜線 這條南湖往中央尖的主稜很少人在走 缺水斷崖橫行 大大太強了
對了可以挑戰從天池上庫哈諾辛接關山北峰、鷹子嘴山 恐龍塔 塔關山續走至關山嶺山最後到向陽的這條傳說中的關山大斷崖，又稱關北段 超級有挑戰性的路線 !
I think this will be part of 中央山脈大縱走 project which mr Ku plan in future

我總是覺得那些在各大高山釘樁拉繩索讓一般登山客可以有一些防護措施的前輩才是最偉大的
是啊,我也很感動前人種樹後人乘涼，謝謝他們。
我也敬佩Petr常常去山上幫忙協助山難的救援，去山上整理山徑，撿垃圾下山，這也是很棒的義舉，拍這片並不是要炫耀速度，而是要讓平常大家看不到另外一面的到台灣的山林，畢竟這腳程是一般人沒辦法走的（例如：我就沒辦法）。
