Yesterday I got in to my first drift accident I'm bit injured but I'm happy with that experience. I usually try that track it has a hill part with no barriers my car just turned off and it flew down to the hill. car is done but I think it's a project for me like your z I'll try my best to get it on the track again ❤ Anyway love your work man 🖤💫
Awesome video dude, Glad I'm now in a position to support you and become a member! Love your videos man, such a vibe about em' you inspired me to start pulling apart my own car and now I'm well into the scene. Much love from New Zealand 🇳🇿 ❤🤙
I’m truly amazed everytime with your videos , you guys was really determined to find the point of failure and you did ! Shout out to you guys and all the knowledge you give everyone !!
Damnnnnnn what a crazy failure on the TOB!!!! Hopefully the shaft for the bearing to ride on isn’t too damaged or you’ll need a repair sleeve to put over it
Clutch springs breaking is a very common thing. But only on weaker more stock level clutches and or cheap ones. Or really just any good abuse and or big HP application. No matter what it’s not uncommon really on sprung clutches. You bang shift em that’s a ton of stress. It can stress crack the metal and not break then one day just let go. Had it happen to me ON A OEM EXEDY clutch replacement but I’d beat on that clutch for THREE years and over 30k miles. And I got it from a buddy who used it before me. So it was well used and no reason to be upset. It happens. Only way to avoid spring failure is going UNsprung which is what race cars do to avoid this. For this reason.
Definitely recommend replacing the clutch master. Highly common failure point in the clutch/hydraulic system! If you guys ever need a hand or have any questions on the DC5 chassis let me know, might also have parts for sale too. I’m right outside of Naperville.
I did a clutch on a older Ford ranger a few weeks ago. They said 15 years ago it got a new clutch and has maybe 1000miles on it and it failed. The spring popped out and destroyed the throw out and fork. Ripped 1 ear off the fork and the bearing was holding on for dear life. Im thinking lack of proper grease was the failure point aswell.
I changed my mates clutch on his EV1 civic, bearing in mind I’ve never changed a clutch before this one and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was disregarding how much you need to remove 😅
You know what’s crazy either from the start of the video seeing those chewed up marks on the pressure plate I realized that the throwout bearing ear broke because that’s the same thing that happened on my 8th gen si has to be a common malfunction with these cars 😂😂
Take some time for you and the boys to make a short rc video. Im sure all of us would love to see you guys bang tiny doors together. You guys are all STARZ to us!
brooo i love your content, and its the only thing i look forward to on youtube keep going man also if possible i need the playlist in the background its firee😵💫😵💫
No idea if its possible on hondas but when i did the clutch on my toyota I was able to avoid dropping the subframe by sliding the trans sideways into the wheel well (gives just enough room to change clutch components)
Thats a forged steel flywheel . Very hard material. The threads on bolts are galled from cold seizing while installing / removing in that forged steel flywheel Likely because there soft cheap bolts . For instance , Stainless steel likes to cold seizes when being installed back into stainless material. And can make them almost impossible to remove
Hey @PrizzaMike, I know you were talking about buyee and ordering wheels, what do you usually pay for shipping to send a set of wheels to the US? I did the price estimate based on weight and size and it came out to about $200, but I'd hate to win an auction and then have to spend a ton of money on shipping.
Hey Mike do you know what radio nate is running in that hatchback Honda Been looking for a Apple CarPlay and gps radio Thank you And keep up the amazing contents 🎉
Yooooo, I’m not sure if it happened to anyone else but make sure you get people to check that youtube has made them randomly unsubscribe from you. I just saw this in my recommended and not my subscriptions when I was previously subscribed
I have something similar in my E36. My throw out bearing failed simply because corrosion (was factory mounted in 1992 xD). I was hear lot of noise when engaging the clutch, drive this couple trackdays and someday when I drove 300 km to trackday it explodes xD Couple balls fall between plate and disc, clutch was slipping in every gear. I kicked the pedal 5 times and balls fall off. This day I raced with no balls in bearing, every clutch use was different but it was last all day with comeback on own wheels. When I put gearbox out every piece of bearing fell on the ground and pressure plate was missing half of teeths.
Glad we were able to throw that “stage 3” EBay clutch in the trash!! OE exedy never felt so good. Always fun wrenchin and catchin mini doors after🔥
Yo, what radio do you have in EK hatch?
I two need that radio
what fenders are you running on the ek
defo a ebay clutch max
"Where'd you get your ring?" "Ooh Honda down the road!" that's a hopeless romantic right there!
Nothing beats meeting up and working on a friend's car, it's always a nice vibe
Honda down the road is the best thing I've heard in long time
The increase in RC car content has made me get back into it with my own cars. I'm definitely enjoying it

Awesome video dude, Glad I'm now in a position to support you and become a member! Love your videos man, such a vibe about em' you inspired me to start pulling apart my own car and now I'm well into the scene. Much love from New Zealand 🇳🇿 ❤🤙
Best clutch I've ever had was a CenterForce on my H22A Prelude! OE feel and better grip than OE!
I’m truly amazed everytime with your videos , you guys was really determined to find the point of failure and you did ! Shout out to you guys and all the knowledge you give everyone !!
Sweet action brother I love it when my Saturday morning starts off by watching PizzaMike. I can't wait to see the 240sx fixed in painted
21:44 i would love a extra RC video
We need an update on ALLL the cars. Like Nate’s mr2 you were working on, etc
Damnnnnnn what a crazy failure on the TOB!!!! Hopefully the shaft for the bearing to ride on isn’t too damaged or you’ll need a repair sleeve to put over it

2:13 that Honda looked fast af. Sounded sick too!
The second time had to be like 120mph at least
New cam? Best sound stage I've heard yet

AAYEEEEEEEE YALL DID THIS ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!!! I spoiled my self and drove to Charlotte that day and bought a new to me 06 Kawasaki brute force 750 😊
Nice repair. Friend of mine used to have an orange type s. Lovely car
It's got me wanting one now!

An rc drift video would be dope!! You guy have sick set ups on your rc cars.
best vibes ive gotten out of a video in a while love your shit man keep it up
i cant lie mike your outro song has become a daily listen for me, thanks for putting me on to this banger!
Just gotta keep compacting and putting more bread. It becomes more dense and starts to push the bearing/bushing right out. Works everytime.
I picked up a b16 trans a while back to rebuild and it had the same thing. Broken throw out bearings
gotta get a video of the rc cars and more info on them. been wanting to get into them more & get my son one to so we can catch some mini dooors
good to see the gang all together, just missin logan
I have that same clutch in my Honda and I love it.🔥 But that Nike rubber jack stand block is definitely on my list of tools to get next😂
You know what’s crazy either from the start of the video seeing those chewed up marks on the pressure plate I realized that the throwout bearing ear broke because that’s the same thing that happened on my 8th gen si has to be a common malfunction with these cars 😂😂
I know this getting old to say but love the bro love how you guys help each other 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Nate’s hatch is dope! Gotta give it some love 🫶
Would be dope to see a good budget rc build. Always wanted to get into them but they always kinda scared me
Take some time for you and the boys to make a short rc video. Im sure all of us would love to see you guys bang tiny doors together. You guys are all STARZ to us!
mann thats insane, never seen something happen like that
Yeah that’ll be great if you make a video on the smaller cars who know might be a movement about that
The More I watch the more I miss my 92 civic SI.
Yesssss! More rc drift I’ve been wanting to buy one for the longest time
That throw out barring sounds like when you bust one of your barrings in your skateboard
The sound of money rolling over the counter :P
Once again a great video man keep it up 🔥🔥
I would love a full rc video
The subframes that really suck to drop are the onea qith the rack and pinion attached.
I love your videos, you always bring a smile to my face, keep up the amazing content you bring us 💯
brooo i love your content, and its the only thing i look forward to on youtube keep going man also if possible i need the playlist in the background its firee😵💫😵💫

Just some boys and there toys gotta love it
Can’t wait to see more k stuff
that basement drift track is lit!
i love the four door nissan r32.
but the rsx is clean.
You guys make great content together
I feel like the "stage 2" clutch made with mystery material just produced so much dust it ended up seizing the bearing in place.
That's a pretty reasonable assumption actually 🤔
was just watching your junkyard vids just a suggestion but would be cool to see your reciept see how much all the parts are costing you
There is a chunk of metal in the transmission on the top left if you're looking at the inside of it
Keep it up Mike! hope one day you get to see my projects!
Yeah make a video rc drifting I’m looking to buy one
level one to level three 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 hearing that made my night complete
Engine parts are the goat.
Your video are awesome keep up the good work 😎😁
Love the vibes guys
It's funny, becuase i also change my clutch today. Came back home and this video just poped up! 😂😂😂
Level 1 adhesion 😭😭😭 that boy
Slipping a brass button clutch daily driving it . This is always the end result when it gets to the rivets
What motors escs and gyros do y’all run in those? Have a brushed one and I’m ready to do an upgrade. Also really awesome bodys y’all got in those!
Another amazing video by mike🎉
It makes me smile knowing some people still play peep in 2024
The tabs on the throw out bearing broke mine did the same thing in my 8th gen si and exploded my throwout bearing
woah what head unit was in the civic bubble
No idea if its possible on hondas but when i did the clutch on my toyota I was able to avoid dropping the subframe by sliding the trans sideways into the wheel well (gives just enough room to change clutch components)
100%
Although with that method it would have been much harder to figure out the failure point... Lmao
Love the vid. I know it's a bit out there but you could try to get a car battery sponsorship, seems like it could be very useful to you.
Was fully expecting to see Nate without a shoe on lmao
Thats a forged steel flywheel . Very hard material.

Drop my phone when I see the screwdriver go 😂

Hell yeah love the video!!!
Don't know what says exedy, but sachs and LUK bearings with plastic inner surface can not be greased
Bros level 1 adhesion ware was so casual 😭😭
I love how janky the Honda fluid bottles look, like it's some brand from the local Dollar Tree 😅
do the rc chassis video!!
I want the stereo in that EK! :O
It came out like buttered bread 🍞
My guess is friction plate has failed
I have done a clutch in my car and I have a em2 just like a rsx
