- This is a look back on Antonio Davis's career. Shaq once said one of the roughest players in the NBA to play against was Antonio Davis. A man who carved out his career relying on his physicality and defense. Thriving on shutting down other big men and rebounding in bunches. Starting his career with the Indiana Pacers as the teams 6th man. Forming a duo with Dale Davis called the Davis boys that no team wanted to mess with as they were physical and going to foul you hard as well as always play hard. With Antonio Davis helping the Indiana Pacers make 4 conference finals appearances. Before getting traded to the Toronto Raptors where he put together his best seasons. Starring as the second option to Vince Carter helping the raptors make the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. Even becoming an NBA all-star and started in the game. Then bouncing around to end his career starting till the end providing veteran presence and grit to young teams that needed it in particular with the Chicago Bulls.

He gave energy on the boards, and on defense
I loved The Davis Boy's Era in Indiana, but it was memorable moment/special when The Davis' Raptors Era happened.
The 99/00 Raptors/Davis (VC,T-Mac) Era could've won a Ring if The Raptors kept T-Mac' that team was special' and great to watch' The Raptors dropped the ball during that time.
1of the Davis brothers dat played with dale Davis rebounds galore
93 - 94 was a huge upgrade for Indiana.
Antonio Davis, Derrick Mckey, Byron Scott, Haywood Workman and Larry Brown who has a knack for Defense.
He went in the stands to cofront some dude bothering his wife
I remember him with Panathinaikos. He came to the team a kid and left a full grown player. In those two years he improved a lot. Panathinaikos at the time had some good backcourt players but was very weak in the frontline. It was the perfect situation for him.
All very true! Overseas basketball can provide a great opportunity for some guys who just need a little more time to develop.
A.D was honestly too good to be a sixth man but damn it was nice for Pacer fans. I loved having both Davis boys.
Great Memories, THANK YOU !
