Nice share! I’ve heard amazing things about Cape Cod! Helltown was the nickname for Provincetown in 1600's, this came about due to carousing, drinking, gambling, and smuggling that occurred near hatches harbor. Hence Helltown was the name given to this area. 😜
Thanks for the video we used to go there in the 7 days when we were much younger. Now we're in our 60s and it is a destination for us before we die. It was always so much fun such great food so many friendly people lovely beaches and scenery. Thanks again so much for sharing this video will be down sometime soon!
@@leonardsheatravel Oh I know! I here about them all the time. I was watching one of the guys slot videos the other day and it went to ads after just one minute of the video and I like tonlet most ads run for everyone but this particular ad was 31 minutes. The video was only 10 minutes....lol
How is there no mention of inclusivity, how welcoming it is to the LGBT+ community, drag shows, entertainment? This feels like it’s missing a large piece of why Provincetown is so special to a lot of people.
I understand your frustration, but there's no need for that. As a foreigner, I already know about the LGBT community influence being really strong in Provincetown, because this is one of the first things that I found out when I was searching about the place. Really, it's everywhere, on Instagram, Blogs, TitkTok, RUclips, every living soul that does a 30 seconds search about this place will know about it being very welcoming to the LGBT community, not to mention that when you look it up on Google Street View, there are LGBT flags everywhere.
Spent many vacations in P-Town back from 1980 through 1990. Nice to see a lot of the businesses/restaurants remain. I remember getting up at 6:00am for a nice quiet walk before the sun would come up. Everyone straight/gay, native/ vacationer would greet you with a hearty smile, good morning, have a wonderful day. Truly friendly. That was what I found mostly attractive about P-Town. Everyone was happy and polite. There was no judging of one another. After the walk breakfast at The Post Office Cafe. This was a ritual each time I visited. Lunch and or dinner at The Mayflower Cafe, mingling with the caricatures and the characters. Poor Richard's Buttery, Spiritus Pizza, Lobster Pot, etc, etc. Does anybody remember the Portuguese bakery on Bradford Street not far from the cemetery? There was a big boulder outside. We would go there several times hung out on the rock enjoying their clam chowder and fresh kaiser roll. I think their clam chowder was the best on The Cape. Does anybody know if the little grocery store is still on Bradford (midtown)? I'm getting up there in age, hoping to make one more visit before they plant my ass. Peace to all.

Would love to go but doesn’t seem like black people go there . I’ll probably feel out of place
I hope you go if you want to go. It will probably getting really busy as summer approaches. Heading to your channel. Thank you for watching!
There are plenty of black tourists, altho definitely a minority. Viisit. You will be welcomed and have a good time.

I go there every summer. The population is diverse and a huge LGBTQ+ mecca. You are free to be whomever you are and no one cares

No mention of how it is a gay town
