Honestly. Beijing 2008 were the greatest Olympic Games ever... London said that they want to "slow down" in some way and their games should be not this pompous... But in my opinion they're just jealous... CHINA showed everybody that it is a great country and that they have the power to make the best olympic games ever...
people who critizise are ignorant and unimportant so why argue with them, i am grateful for china for doing this, im proud and honored that they had the olympics in their land, anyone who argues against that are just ignorant and should just be ignored. i support Chinas actions and hope they live greatly.

I understand and sympathize of Tibet's oppresion under China, but I seriously think the Olympics are worst place to provoke a political fight. The Olympics were designed to unite all nations in one place for a few days not to divide cultures and people. I does not matter if you come for China or Iraq. The Olympics were invented by the ancient Greeks, during the Olympics politics and wars were forgotten and people competed in sports events. That is also the point on today's Olympics. Why do you need to use a peaceful sporting event as a stage for you political views? Can you not give you political views at a different time?
