I think it's the first time I really see how the story telling is going to be impacted by the CAS items. The styles are very defined and it seems they will be a great tool for showing personality. Usually I just find the clothing beautiful and really well done, and I enjoy spending a lot of time in CAS, but I never feel like I am shaping a personality, more that I am finding fits I find nice and to my taste. I think this pack will make me get out of my comfort zone in terms of style!

That’s so crazy that there’s an Internet Girl collab! I actually went to high school with her (she was a year or two older) and she’s been on depop for years. Her style is very y2k / punk grunge. That necklace is one of her own designs she sells, it’s one of her most popular and she’s been selling it for ages!
Depop is an app you can find on of a kind Clothes. Some people customize clothes or you can find vintage clothes that are not being made anymore. I think that is the reason for not seeing swatches on some items to kinda fit the depop aesthetic.
As a black simmer I love how content creators like Deli and LilSimsie appreciate other cultures, ethnicities, backgrounds, etc. There’s nothing that makes me happier then seeing them discuss braids or just different things that are often overlooked or appropriated and not talked about
Same here! I'm also really glad she seems to be mindful of appropriation and is respectful of the culture surrounding these hairstyles!
I’m personally not black but I love making black sims so I love when their are more braids hairstyles in the game

There aren't more swatches because realistically if you are shopping second hand you don't tend to have unlimited swatches to choose from like you would if you were shopping fast fashion. I think they just wanted the CAS to be realistic with the second hand element they are going for.
Even fast fashion doesn’t usually come in lots of colours. Most clothes only come in one or two different options unless it’s like a basic style. Wherever you go shopping, in real life clothes tend to only come in a couple options at most.

I love everything in the CAS of this pack but I’m a little disappointed there’s not more shoes, especially heels for a pack with prom
I was originally worried about the cas cause 99 percent of the teens In the trailer were styled like young adults however they actually have a lot of age appreciate teen outfits and I am so excited !
I think we could use an age-based cas filter. Similar to the outfit type one that the player can take off if they want, but still helping the townies to generate a bit better
@@complainer406 yea! I’m hoping given it’s still in development that they maybe even add school as one of the outfit tabs at the top so you can customise the sims uniform
@@complainer406 something like that actually already exists in the game's code - clothes can be tagged as "appropriate" for each age group. idk how well it works in practice but the tag exists.
As a mom to a transgender kid, I love how The Sims team makes the game so inclusive and do their part to normalize and educate.
Really looking forward to this pack! Would really love to see you do another Hampton falls style let’s play, the new functionality would really take the let’s play to another level!
The gold swatches are rewards for when you max the cheerleading activity!! You also get a golden flag and a gold trophy!

2. Seeing you talk about the sequin jumpsuit made me think of a video idea. I would love to see you order some Sims CAS items from a tailor and do a full week of dressing like a sim. I feel like it would be very cool, and a lot of fun, and there are a bunch of etsy shops that do really affordable tailoring + it would be so fun to see you get to wear the sequin suit :)

In the US we graduate so much! Anytime we leave a school pretty much! I graduated Kindergarten, 8th grade, high school, college, grad school. My kids have graduated preschool so far (but not Kindergarten).

i loveeeee this cas. they really took different styles that different types of people would wear in high school and just added them ALL in. LOVE IT!!!!

I love that the clothes are getting more and more universal for both frames, some clothes I want to put on the opposite and they just look awful in clothes from the older packs. The sims are really stepping up their game!
Really like that braided style in your thumbnail. They have come a long way in terms of braided hairstyles. This one in particular is giving me Zendaya vibes.

Those first two tops are recolours of base game items. I think they’re meant to be base game items that were customised by the teen.
Feminine CAS is so beautiful!
Masculine one however, while having some cool pieces, most of it falls into the same old 3 categories like with every single pack before: athletic, preppy and jackets...I finally want something else! Pleaaaaaase EA
Everything looks really nice, I just wish they would have made the teen body frame looking like teens like they used to in the others sim before.

Everyone complaining on how unrealistic this pack is due to school dress codes and they can’t relate, did you stay at school on weekends to? did you never go to a party? I wore a uniform to school and I think the CAS items are great. Colourful swatches, out there styles as they are teens and still trying to discover their own style and who they are. I think they nailed it.
Super cute cas items. Love the kawaii stuff and print swatch choices, I do agree many of the items would be cool if they came with more swatches though as many didn't seem to have any 💜

Deligracy as a Mum of both son's here in Melbourne. When my eldest graduated here in Melbourne its just a presentation dinner, but it's a formal event.
We lived in America for when he was in middle school, he had formal photographs, gown as part of his graduation.
I still like the Australian system better, it was a great night and all the kids dressed up they looked fantastic.

Deli, this is the perfect pack for Hampton Falls season two except I guess it wouldn’t be called Hampton Falls but you get the idea. Imagine how cool Hampton Falls would’ve been if you had all of these additional aspirations and traits, fashions and locations for your teens. Pretty please! We need something that isn’t a occult based… That’s realistic gameplay. Much love. 💜💜💜

Hi yes the going through security thing is honestly very realistic in most schools personally I walk through metal detectors and get padded down every day also my my bag gets checked Although it’s a lot less extreme for some schools
I haven't seen any of the pack gameplay, but from the assumptions that can be made of the "Goal Oriented" aspiration from this pack, I think it'd work perfectly if completed before graduation, so that sim can now get the "academic scholar" aspiration (I think it's called) from the uni pack!! :D I think that'd flow perfectly based on the names of aspirations
Yes deli they said in the official live stream today that they doesn’t weeks watching shows like euphoria,riverdale etc to really bring in that teen vibe for this expansion pack and as you mentioned a few times a lot of the clothes Is definitely giving euphoria vibes and I love it 😍

There is so many nice clothes! And I think these styles are a good addition to what there is before. Very unique and different but very present styles mostly.

It's not just because you watched Euphoria recently! There's a lot of Euphoria vibes in this pack!! I noticed it even in the trailer with that very Maddie inspired Sim with the high ponytail :) It's a smart choice, I think, considered the popularity of the show & the fact that all the main characters are teens/in high school!

Deli, I think the one-swatch items are all recolors of existing (and maybe all basegame) meshes, which makes me think, with the collabs, maybe they're recolors made by the people they collabed with and that's why there is only one swatch each?

I love most of the things about the CAS... But only 2 new shoes? And barely any new accessories? 🤔 That's just so strange especially how they put kind of an importance on style in teens lives. But otherwise I do love many of the items and the Clueless reference. 💛

I wanna know if they will have an option for schools to set a uniform or other clothing rules, and you get in trouble if you don't wear it.
They have said there isn’t the option to do it and I’m so mad because it would of been so easy for them to add and it would of made it more inclusive to different cultures. I’m sure modders will get on it quickly but sadly console players won’t be able to set uniforms.
