I've come back to watch this a year since. He was the one I thought should win. I honestly see how he didn't win now. While his upper range is jaw dropping and phenomenal, his midrange and low's are average to maybe even below for someone on this stage. The one who won was still the wrong choice, but I don't think Omar was screwed.
Boy it takes real guts for a man to sing a Celine Dion song and then absolutely crush it. I was shocked he finished in 4th place. Thats sounds like the very last season I watched the show when Christina Grimmie finished 3rd.

The real winner of The Voice 22.Crystal clear voice perfect diction , perfect pitch . The best chest voice amazing range and control and could sustained a note for 17-18 second. Amazing stage presence .He could be the alternate lead singer for the group Journey and if they want to resurrect the group Queen.

But what makes a superstar is the ability to gain a following as much as technical ability - in some cases even more so if you know how common pitch correction is these days, and how many of the greatest stars out there today can barely get through one song on a live show. The latter half of talent shows like The Voice, X Factor and American Idol is a test of that ability, because by that point most of the weaker singers would have been eliminated by the judges. This is especially so after the Top 8. The point is, if technical ability were the be-all and end-all of what makes a singing sensation, Omar and his brother would be among the best in the world. But becoming a star is also about fan loyalty and marketability, and in that, it seems the country crowd is more willing to make themselves heard.
Wow. I first heard Omar featuring on Voiceplay’s videos. A cappella group. He is a phenomenal singer. Was shocked when I found out he was on The Voice last year.
The season prior, it was Wendy Moten, in this particular season, it's Omar Cardona; THE REAL VOICE doesn't have to win, it's just obvious who is, from the blinds onwards.

Not one to comment usually but…. Sheesh! How did Omar not win in a show called “The Voice”? Has that type of voice that makes you want to listen to more and a great performer on top of that. Range, tone, support, control, versatility,… all this without trying to sound like the original singers. Originality bonus points! Don’t get me wrong, the winner Bryce sang well (for the country music ear) but just did all the gimmicks of country music with no originality on top. A voice that can easily be forgotten in the vast soundalikes of the genre. Bryce also sounded exactly the same in all his performances. Don’t believe me? Watch his complete performance video and just let it play for a couple of seconds while you hit the “skip a couple secs” button several times in between until the video finishes. Then tell me if you can tell when one song starts and the other finishes (assuming you don’t know the lyrics to the songs). Snooze fest! Lastly, the other singers did better as well! But I guess people get lost in the sauce of one genre because it’s the flavor of the month. Omar, the real “voice” people’s champ! 🥇🏆 (Ps. Don’t come at me cuz I won’t reply ✌️)

That finale performance of Somebody to Love was probably the greatest performance I’ve ever seen on The Voice. Period. Omar was never my favorite (just not my style, but I still can appreciate his immense talent - what a voice!!!), but out of the finalists, he definitely should have won. Incredible.
I love Omar but to me the ONLY person to sing "somebody to love" besides Freddie Mercury is Jordan Smith. I loved, loved his version of that song. Listen to it. ❤

Just discovered this guy... He must have been inspired by Adam Lambert in some form because he is throwing me those vibes all over the place. Lots of similar qualities. And he manages to pull it off well! Adam was another great who went on to do great things after he didn't win a show, so good luck to Omar...
I just found out that he was on the voice. I don't have cable, so RUclips is how I find this stuff out. I was introduced to him, via VoicePlay. The first time I saw him was in "The Dragonborne Comes". I highly recommend this video and anything from VoicePlay, along with Geoff Castellucci, who is the Bass Singer, if you haven't seen anything by him. They are phenomenal. Omar did a wonderful job. I have no idea who won (haven't looked them up, yet), but I'm sure Omar had a ton of fun getting to share his enthusiasm for music and his amazing voice.
His energy althroughout is very consistent.His voice and stage presence is same as those signed already.Somebody can tell me this was his concert and i wouldn't question it AT ALL...Brilliant!

Just saw Omar on my carnival cruise. Such a natural humble entertainer. Such a gift. Love his story of growing into his music career.

He should get a contract with somebody, if not he should be on the RUclips every week with a new song to sing. That's the seriousness of his voice and the people of the music industry should not let his voice be wasted. It's unfortunate that Voice had to come to an end so soon because I miss his voice.
