you've opened up a whole new audience with the recent nano updates. love them. I have a 29 cube aio. if u get a chance please talk about nano filtration and what the 24 has. thanks!
Just curious, how was the leopard wrasse long term? A female leopard wrasse is my dream fish, but I want to wait for my tank to mature before I add one (currently I have a Flasher wrasse).
What's the spider web looking thing on the rocks (I don't know what it's called lol) my 30g just started getting them any recommendations on how to get rid of it
Where did you get your beautiful cowfish? I am getting one and idk where to get it. I want to get him/her as a very small baby. Have any website suggestions? If you got one on a website, what website and how did you get it as a baby if you did?
I got mine at my LFS Animal Attraction in Greeley CO. I was on Blue Zoos site the other day and they had some little ones that where on sale. You might give them a look.
Great vid! Quick question- Dinoflagellates on our 28 gallon sand bed. We keep our tank in dark spot, nutrients low, parameters perfect and we've had 2 do 2 Chemiclean and blackouts but it keeps coming back. So sick of manual removal. Any suggestions- tank is 9 months old
Dino is no fun in the past I've only had small out breaks and manual removal worked. You might try upping your water flow and seeing if that helps. People also keep there PH elevated when battling it (8.4 or above)
Hey Scott, how long did the leopard bury itself in the sand, after you first put it in? I have read that they tend to hid for a week or so before they come out.
Hey Scott didn't you say you got your super glue for drags from the dollar store if so what's the name of it I'm tired of spending a lot for glue lol thanks buddy
Hi scott i love the cow fish its so cute and the wrasse is one i have been looking at i have taken the kole tang back as it got attacked again i loved it but would rather give it back thank it be killed . I am getting a new coral on Tuesday and don't know much about it was wondering if you have one or know anything about them its a galaxea coral its quite expensive as my fls shop say its hard to get . hope you can help thanks
That's to bad about the kole tang I was hopping that would work it self out. Galaxea are really pretty and relatively easy to get in the US. The big thing to watch out for with galaxea is it has really strong and long sweeper tentacle. These corals will kill there neighbors so watch where you put it.
yep, she sure does. though I don't know if a 30 litre tank is quite big enuff.haha. ive only just learned its hardly big enuff for my blenny on his own... so much to take in as a newbie tho. 2nd day I started cycling my tank I had an aptasia outbreak, next day I see a snail, sundial I think, a few days later (yesterday), 3 of my new babies look really unhealthy. not sure if its ich or velvet or whitespot... talk about learning the hard way. its just a shame these 3 poor blighters are suffering now because of my incompetence. im trying my best to help them but im struggling. I just put a video up of my problem in the hope I can get some help.
Hi I need to channel and I want him to setting up a new tank but I want to also know what will be a good lights for a 5 gallon container for someone 5 gallon tank actually I'm growing coral it
on my tank I'm running a PAR 38 bulb in a lamp. like you I also need something better and inexpensive. I hate to say it, but I haven't figured out what that is yet.
Awesome little tank, I am obviously a big fan of the cow fish... =)
Cow fish are so cool you just have love them.
it's just regular super glue brand super glue.
Glad the leopard wrasse is doing well. Can't wait to get one!
She really is, i'm happy it went so well.
Great stuff Scott and that wrasse us gorgeous. Great job and look forward to more updates.
Thanks Scott! she's doing really well.
Really liking the leopard wrasse Scott. very colorful fish. The cowfish is cool looking as well. I'm sure the cowfish is full of personality.
Thanks Darren!the cowfish is full of personality it's great.
man i've watched your videos for so long and never realized how much you look like the best part of MIB...David Cross.

It just has stock filtration. There some foam padding, a bag of carbon and GFO and a heater, there isn't much to it really.

It's about 100liter right?
That's a pretty cool tank!
Imma Watch some of your other videos and then subscribe ;) !
Gj aquamate!
Thanks, i'm not sure what the liter conversion is. we're still a little antiquated with our measurements in the US.
hair is looking sweet man!! I miss my long hair
Thanks, it's a bit out of style, but I don't think I was ever in style.

I had just done a water change and stressed out the coral, it's coral mucus. It well go away if it bugs you it can be blown off with a turkey baster.
+MileHighReefers ooo ok thanks I was getting worried for a minute

it was out the first couple of days then it disappeared for two, my wife was pretty worried. She's been out ever since.

I get the Super Glue brand gel Super Glue two tubes for a buck. It works great and its cheap.
That's at the dollar store ?
yeah, people look at me funny when I have a cart full of super glue, but it's a great deal.
Cool thanks Scott

Thanks Scott I have a corner in my tank that has no other corals there's about 10" before the nearest coral
Hey, dude. What do you feed the Cowfish?
I feed it New Life Spectrum pellets, seaweed, and LRS frozen food. He ate it all really well.
another cow fish? cool
We've had it a couple of moths, but it's not the same one that was in the 210.
Definitely subbed nice tank
Thanks!
I have a starry blenny that the wife calls the cow fish.... I just showed her what an actual cow fish looks like.
That's awesome! I bet she wants a real one now.
